Hi Matt! Great collabo with JL! I thought you were back at the Cornbread in Newark because I missed the beginning of the video when I posted in the chat. So, no, I'm not deaf. LOL! I was surprised that you and JL resisted using hot sauce. I discovered that I like it 'on' the leafy greens, but not cooked in it. As a kid back in the day, my mother would parboil the meats (ribs, chicken, etc.), that would be BBQ'd later, in a pot of water with lots of onions and other seasonings (including hot sauce), so when they went on the grill, there were no hard rib meat or chicken parts after cooking and then basting them with sauce. I'm looking forward to JL-and-U, Part 2! Peace!

Welcome to Montclair! Cornbread is great, and so’s Rooster’s Hot Chicken which is just down the way. Parking at the lot on Glen Ridge Ave is easiest in my experience for any of these restaurants. And it’s not posted, but parking less than 20 minutes is free in most of these new Montclair lots.
