That's so weird. This looks like its from either "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" or "Alfred Hitchcock Hour." But this is NOT the only time I have heard an extended version of "Revue." I saw another weird version on it on "Laramie" not too long ago. Tragically, I don't know the episode. >.

Both Paramount and Universal entered into full-fledged television production in the same way during the 1960s. Universal gained a television division in 1962 when it was purchased by MCA, owner of one of the leading independent TV studios, Revue Studios, which soon after became Universal Television. Paramount entered into TV production in 1967, when a year after being purchased by Gulf+Western, the conglomerate purchased Desilu Productions, another major independent TV studio. Paramount's new TV division operated under the Desilu name for a few months before formally becoming Paramount Television in January 1968. Paramount and Universal weren't the only major studios to enter TV this way. Columbia Pictures acquired TV commercial producer Pioneer Telefilms in the late 1940s and renamed it after its former cartoon studio, Screen Gems, repurposing it to produce TV series. Most of the other major film studios of the time - Fox, WB, MGM, and United Artists - launched their TV production units from scratch, with UA launching theirs just before they purchased Associated Artists Productions, then the owners of the pre-1950 WB library and the Paramount Popeye cartoons. Another entity that wasn't a major studio then but is one now, Disney, also entered into TV production this way. RKO did not become a fully integrated film and TV production company, they in fact ceased being a major studio in the late 1950s.

Two years after acquiring AAP, United Artists purchased ZIV Television Productions in 1960. It operated as ZIV United Artists for about two years until it became United Artists Television.
