J Fresh thats exactly what i was thinkin, any time you have a helicopter involved, yr going to have a rather large price tag, these guys must be doctors & lawyers & such .....hell they probably own the helicopter...
@jayswarrow11965 жыл бұрын
First world rally tour started by bunch of blokes, who met with their beaters and decided to drive across the continent. There are cheap snowdoos and climbinggear around, also, you don't need a chopper, when you have skills to ride back down. (and any skill comes with Time x Experience of wins and fails.) Don't put yerself down before you try.

how much did that cost getting the chopper out there for the lift ?
@OverwatchSIX6 жыл бұрын
In BC probably a grand/hr. Lets just say "$1000+" In these shit conditions it ads up, but when you have a sled worth 20x more its worth it. You ever see some of these chutes in person youll understand why theres no other option at some point. Riding down is a wreck 12/10 times on some. 90 degrees is an understatement
@natebernacki67176 жыл бұрын
@@OverwatchSIX easily $40-$50k+ in each of those turbo'd 4 stroke sleds. Much cheaper to fly them out than ghost ride them down the chute and fix everything later.

By that comment alone proves you aint ever ridden in your life, lol... and if you did, it was in your backyard while your Dad coached.

@Wesley Daniel sure sure, stick to your trails. I don't see any of these epic videos of you being awesome ;) I'd do circles around you. Call me a fag with my monosuit all you want, follow me and I'll be laughing at the ones who called me a "fag" from the top.

@Wesley Daniel Well it appears as if the broke fool finally gave up trying to rationalize blowing tens of thousands of dollars on brand new snowmobiles, only to show off.. hahaha

At 1:29 Who ever yelled Fuck!! owes me a new beer. I spit beer all over myself and the floor. Awesome video otherwise.
@aliassmithandjones94534 жыл бұрын
It seems to me a (cheap) doable way to extract those sleds would be a pair of static ropes and a big come-along or hand winch (w/tree anchor). Put a 'Buddy Tow' under the track so it will glide. $200 in gear that can be reused vs a kings ransom for chopper hoist
