My scout 1 index finger wore out from changing tracks on my Scala... the cloth material was to soft, also not great on temperatures below 2deg Celsius, hand got very cold - Worn in Ireland.

The Scout v2 Gloves are a bit warmer and would be my pick for here in the Northeast, but you could probably get away with the Tempests. -DrewZilla
