Do these gloves get hot with the fact they have no perforation? Five RFX1s look way better than these gloves and I'm leaning towards them. Any feedback would be nice. Also these gloves don't have the pinky-ring finger attachment. Do any of you find it too inhibiting when a glove has that?

Very nice gloves, but I would have liked to see a TPU slider on the base (palm side) of the thumb and not just a single slider on the outer heel of the palm. I have Dainese gear and they make excellent gear, but, having experienced in my own hands (pun intended) how two palm sliders will save the day, I tend to err on the side of excess hard sliding protection at the palm. Each rider has his/her preferences and gloves are a very-picky topic for many. I cannot but compare how Dainese continues to stick to one palm slider while my racing gloves from Racer, Weise, Ixon, Knox (Handroid MKIII, just got these for my girl), Scorpion and other top brands (e.g. Held, Richa) have two sliders at the heel of the palm instead of one. I've even seen Anthony mention the lack of a slider at the base (palm side) of the thumb. Incidentally, Alpinestars moved back to a single palm slider in their high-end current lineup, while they used to have two palm sliders on their GP Techs. Dainese and Alpinestars know what they're doing, so this is simply an observation of mine and both Dainese and Alpinestars are among my top choices of MC gear anytime anywhere; I absolutely trust them to engineer and design superb gloves made to shield the hands against just about any hazard. Going back to the aforementioned second-slider comment, there's no need for even a TPU slider per se at the base of the thumb, just some extra pro-sliding material like Superfabric, Stingray or even those oh-so-early-2000s oldschool rivets (LOL, just kidding with the latter). I still think that these Dainese Full Metal 6 are indeed apex predators (Anthony, I think I'm borrowing that word for my reviews, ha!) and these gloves offer lots of GP-infused protection with plenty of style. Lovely, highly-protective gloves from Dainese, and I really like the improvements over the previous Full Metal gloves. The wraparound gauntlet of the FM 6 is an excellent improvement; happy to see that protection and comfort move on the part of Dainese for these FM 6 gloves. Cheers!

For anyone looking at these gloves now. They are NOT for daily use or street use. The palm side of the hand is so delicate it requires very frequent conditioning and will fall apart if you use it daily. This info comes straight from Dainese reps in LA.

It's hard to imagine they would beat the D1 so it looks like small modifications (you are right, the cuff looks better though). This isn't a knock on Dainese...this glove is perfect. The safety of these gloves is insane...what do they have to add to make them CE2? or is it something small like....no pinky-ring finger mating.

It's unclear what they'd have to do to technically meet CE2, as they haven't decided to test them to find out. -DrewZilla

the kevlar stitching should be also in the left side of the palm in the thumb. its poor there and it gets worn and tears apart at least in my case.

For whatever reason Dainese gloves are super inconsistent. I wear mediums in literally every glove perfectly. I fit some Dainese gloves perfect in a medium, but in the Full Metal 6 mediums fit like a large, and smalls are too small. But these gloves fit me perfectly. Idk what's up with Dainese but they need to sort it out.

How does it fit on the fingers? Does it have enough length on for the fingers to go in? I got an Icon and it doesn't fit right on the fingers, it's too short and i legit couldn't ride the bike with the gloves on.

Hi RevZilla I'm looking for a replacement to my Druid D1s which fitted me fine and were great for the track but noticed they were too long on the fingers when worn with either my leather jacket or my 1 piece suit, those were a size M and was thinking perhaps I'd go the Full Metal 6s or the Steel Pros but one size down? You guys think that will solve the issue?

No, these fit tighter than the Druids, so I recommend keeping size M instead of sizing down. -DrewZilla
