He also is Director of the Neuromodulation Division and a Senior Research Scientist at the Semel Institute. Dr. Leuchter is a graduate of Stanford University and the Baylor College of Medicine who joined the UCLA faculty in 1986. The problem with this model is that it treats depression like a hiccup in the nervous system, and not stemming from something deeper in the individual’s life. But mental illness, depression, is much more complicated than a faulty writing issue, or a chemical imbalance.

I to have thought of ending my life several times or wishing I no longer was alive, but my fear of pain puts a halt to that idea fast lol, and not everyday is a bad day. its just when the hard/dark days do come, some are harder to deal with then others.
