Thanks for making this kind of video! It's a really engaging and informative way to learn these rules. Also, well done to Julian! I like the two-action system; I think for combat maneuver builds it feels really nice to make a CM and an attack in the same round when the circumstances allow it (but I've told you before that I'm a Brawler fan so of course I like benefits for CM builds lol). Moving feels rather expensive in this action economy, but since my time playing DnD 5e I've thought movement feels expensive in Pathfinder as well. The move action can definitely give a big advantage, but I really like the tactics that players come up with turn-to-turn when moving is virtually free like it is in 5e. I'd have to spend more time with the stamina rules to understand them fully, but in principle I really like them so far. It seems like a more elegant solution to the problem of creatures suddenly going from perfectly healthy to unconscious in one round than the systems I've seen for wound thresholds. I like that stamina points are regained quickly compared to HP, both from a gameplay standpoint and from the narrative perspective of light wounds being more easily brushed off than more critical injuries.

I am happy you enjoyed it and found it useful. I might make one more video about the combat rules in the more "boring" format 😅Since there are a number of rules that either were not truly explained or were not part of that last video. This far both the two-action system and the stamina/health system are working out very well in the play tests I am doing and my players seem to both enjoy and fall into the system easily, As for movement, I tend to agree with you the demo Julian and I made was a bit stationary. I was considering why that was and how to make it more dynamic. I think the solution to this has to come from the GM, and not from the system. If players are stationary it is up to the GM to weed them out of their entrenched position. Letting the bad guys take position of total cover and use ranged attacks to draw them out, or pile on on characters forcing them to move lest they get overwhelmed 🙂
