Throne 2 here.I put some felt in the shroud to cover the holes. This way the rifle can still bleed some air out of the back to keep noise down but I won't get my hands and face covered with fine lead dust(nasty stuff). Impressed with the rifle. Only have a stuck reg now so its repair time. Tip: FX gen 3 air bottles do work but the shroud doesn't allow for a smooth fit if you want to use a carbon bottle (slightly larger diameter), changing POI. Aluminum bottles fit fine.

I've been impressed with my original throne for over 3 years. A little bit of tweaking and polish it's a excellent day to day shooter. Definitely more reliable than one my European manufactured rifles 😉

I can wait for the airgun industry to stop using belleville washers in the regulator and start using springs like the paint ball industry does. Then we will no longer need to de-gas the rifle to turn down the regulator. Long over do honestly. The Skout Epoch has exactly that in its regulator and from a manufacturing perspective the spring one would think would be cheaper, more consistent, and have less issues over time. I believe this is a good rifle and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one. Hopefully by then it will come with a 500-580cc carbon bottle.

Reximex does offer it with a 480cc CF Bottle.

@@shootersdenpk I knew Reximex was offering a CF bottle. But I think they issues with clearance of bottle and shroud then reverb. Things might be different now. But in the U.K. I think I saw them for 270 pounds. A third of the price of the riffle. If you really want to make this gun a great shooter. Get a LW barrel or CZ the same length as the shroud. It will be 70 mm longer remove the shroud baffles then you can directly screw the mod to the barrel not shroud. For 140 pounds ish.

@@Wickedstickyflowers best thing just shoot the gun untill the pressure is low the un screw the bottle shoot out all the pressure in the plenum then adjust the reg up or down

It said you can unscrew full bottles as they got buddy bottles. I did exactly as you said just did it under high pressure, I upgraded my aluminum bottle for a carbon fiber . I got ate adapter from Canada. Supposed to be compatible, it’s holding air but I noticed a difference in the adapter on the original and aftermarket. Hopefully not a problem but I don’t try till I dhoot this bottle out and need to swap to a buddy bottle

@@Wickedstickyflowers my advice is that if the bottle is full don't try to unscrew it rather wait until there is less pressure than what your reg pressure is then unscrew it if the bottle is full and you try unscrew it you will damage the oring that creates the seal between the bottle adapter where it screws into the gun

Ive been eyeing this little beast for a while now. My only concern is power. If you were to make an upgrade kit that would allow it to shoot 25gr slugs at 850-900fps, it would be a great buy. Do you think you will make a kit for this?

VULCAN 3 can be tuned to shoot a 40gn 1130 fps so I would have to say the Vulcan 3 as far as 5.5mm
