I think you are talking about the new foresight slash when the longsword is in red gauge. It’s so sick

@@A_weak_baby no not the red glow. the blue one, see at this part 0:56 and 1:27 so its not parry, block or counter, its more like a see through like in wukong, not sure if you are familiar with that.😅 but yea it is cool. i thought that this was a button mashing only gameplay but seeing there are mechanics like this i might try this when it comes out!

@@jojaYT that is the new foresight slash named as foresight whirlwind slash, its only usable in redgauge. and button mashing is the furthest thing from monster hunter lol

This game doesn't look that good, and the moveset feels like a weird mixture of MHW and MHR, if you are really into monster hunter then sure its another game for you, but this feels very lackluster and a game for the sake of releasing new game and getting another cash grab. The graphics are subpar, no true innovation in terms of open world (reusing the mechanics of MHW mostly), the voiceacting and the dialogue feels like MHW and makes me want to put a bullet in my head (if I have to hear another hey pard in this game I swear to god I will do it) and the combat just doesnt feel impactful. After so many good games being released this year like Wukong and Elden Ring DLC etc. this just feels so cheap. Also they stopped calling the palicos and just straight up named them for what they are, CAT, fn CAT. I dont know I was looking foward to this and the gameplay on their Steam page looks great along with graphics, but seing the actual game is so disappointing.
