When you perform a perfect counter with iai spirit slash you don't lose your gauge. Performing the iai slash allows your gauge to fill automatically for some time. Also you can immediately perform a spirit roundslash after a perfect foresight slash.Hope this helps

Nah it just stops blastblight from triggering on the slime in earlier areas. He probably has the healing augment on the weapon so he gets his health back while attacking in the slime puddles

When the monster isn't enraged you can flinch shot it by grappling to its head... easiest way for me to tell if it's enraged is either my agitator skill is active or if you look at its nose you will see little puffs of breath coming out. When it's like that flinch shots won't work
