I never looked how it's done, but I am guessing the bread is actually more like a sponge that was made to look like bread. And under the plate there is a hole, the sponge is sucked flat probably by as vacuum as you said, then they release the sucking and the water runs down the hole and the sponge that looks like bread expands upwards. This is just my guess, probably it's slightly different somewhere.
@ChSjRi3 жыл бұрын
@@ziongite It might be a really wild guess, but I'd say they did that whole process and added the clip in reverse. See how it stopped growing at a certain size perfectly? The bread was made of a dissolving material that once added water with the fountain it would shrink. Once it dissolved, all they had to do is record the part were the water was sucked up from the bottom and fill it again, so they could record Rey adding the powder and whisk. Edit: nvm I'm just being silly, they did use a vacuum and inflate it lol

Not shown: Rey eating it using her hands and chewing with her mouth open. Seriously this is scene is a major part of her character. As we can see, she lives in a mess of a room and then the previously mentioned eating habits (meaning she's a slob), the fact that she lost to Kylo more than she won (seriously the only reason she won on the Starkiller Base was because the deck was ALREADY against Kylo, from being hit by Chewie's op bowcaster that even Han is envious of, to getting blown up, to wasting a metric F^%@# ton of stamina on a Hollywood teleportation through a blizzard, to wasting more on a battle with the "traitor" in said blizzard when he should have just lead with the force pull instead of toying with Finn (who was literally trained as nothing more than cannon fodder ("the only thing I know how to do is be a stormtrooper" were Finn's exact words and we all know how useless those guys are)), the fact that they never left the blizzard to continue the fight, the fact that the planet was falling apart around them... also the only reason Kylo beat Luke is because Luke let him out of pity after having given the same speech as Snoke and the tug of war that resulted in the destruction of Anakin's lightsaber was a straight loss for her and a victory for Kylo as the former no longer had a weapon while the latter was still armed and far more dangerous), the fact that the Millennium Falcon receives damage from her piloting that would not have happened with Han, the fact that she's an even worse shot than the Empire's stormtroopers, and the sheer number of tactical errors that Leia herself never once would have made, never mind her selfish and childish reasons for staying on Jakku (waiting for someone she knows is never gonna return) and cowardly reasons for wanting to go back (can be summed up as "I don't wanna be a Resistance Fighter with the Force, I wanna be the common scavenger who falsely believes her parents will come for her") and initially trying and failing to reject the Force in general when a Sue would have jumped at the chance (mind rape be damned) makes it utterly baffling that people think she's a Mary Sue when she has so many actual flaws that they're choosing to ignore. Heck even her decision to redeem Kylo Ren isn't technically hers, it's Han's. Han was the first to try (and the first to fail), Then it was Leia and Luke, then it was (arguably) Snoke with his speech about how the Force must remain in "balance" (as in The Father's idea of balance rather than the Jedi's), her ability with a lightsaber is a carry over from her skill with the staffshe used before having a lightsaber (seriously the implication that she's had it for as long if not longer than she'd been a scavenger is pretty solid) as the entire thing is a striking area just like with the blade itself (Bo staves in particular are traditionally held like two handed swords irl although she technically used a quarter staff which is double the length), and her first use of the force (the mind trick, as the time she entered Kylo's head was the result of him using one of his abilities backwards due to his incomplete training) is no more basic than when Ezra opened a Jedi Holocron for the first time. Then there's how her life is not in any way in her own hands, she spends basically the entire movie being told "no" or having to go with the option she didn't pick (*the ship she goes for gets blown up* "The garbage will do", "We're not going back to Jakku" (they don't), her attempts at rejecting the force utterly being ignored especially Kaz's "you don't have a choice, fate picked this for you" speech and her later resigning herself to it, needing multiple attempts to mind trick a stormtrooper when a Youngling could have done it without any real effort (granted the stormtrooper in question was played by one of the guys who played James Bond and is even numbered "JB-007" in the credits as a cheeky reference, but still a stormtrooper is a stormtrooper, they're not trained for independent thought, which is also why Finn lost to Kylo despite all the punishment Kylo took before hollywood teleporting ahead of them), tried going to Jakku only for Kylo to instantly knock her out with Force Faint, and being rejected as a student by Luke to start, and then there's being limited completely INTUITION-based force abilities like telepathy and moving small objects before meeting Luke where she was likely taught the size doesn't matter thing offscreen (which is how she was able to lift the rock saving the resistance fighters, if you expect me to believe it was out of plot convenience you can only possibly be joking especially since Yoda himself said "do or do not, there is no try" and she certainly put a lot of effort into lifting that thing), and the fact that she couldn't stop a rathtar when it would have been easy for a padawon to do just that with relative ease, I could go on if you want, but I'll end it here. rant over
@kenpoarniceguy15 жыл бұрын
