It would be interesting if one day you get your hands on a Naylor SD60, to see if there’s a lot of difference between them because the Friedman Naked is basically the preamp section of the Naylor SD60 with the power section of the Marshall 1978 Super Lead 100w. JESUS. It was instant! The first note you hit was like a ton of bricks, perfect level of crunch, perfect frequency balance. Who do I gotta kill to get one? EDIT: Also this confirms my suspicions of something that I simply havent had a chance to try yet. I hate the hi mid spike that comes from pairing a V30 with an SM57. I've been digging the sound of the Redback I'm hearing in demos, so I was thinking pairing it with the classic SM57 will give you SM57 standard but tame that hi mid, and that's what I'm hearing in this demo. Time to replace my V30s I think!

honestly, i'm trying to play the same things and then turn a knob and play the riff again. i'm so inconsistent with THAT. i have other "creative" "freeform" style videos on this channel where I improvise or play whatever, but when i'm trying to show the range of an amp, it's mostly the same kind of riffs between turning some knobs. also, i don't really know how to play that good.
