Rezoom 6/13/21 First session spin incident

Spin with an impact to the tire wall after turn 3 with my 2021 ZL1 1LE A10. Only sheet metal damage and I did run a few laps after some sheet metal adjustments.

Well crap. Been there done that. It sux but could have been worse. I like watching spin vids but better when no damage of course. I have also posted many I have witnessed or participated in. Keep safe out there!

Sorry to see this! Glad it does not seem serious. As a fellow track junkie always enjoy watching vids to see what what right and what went wrong. Thoughts here? Seems like previous laps you were faster and settled. This one with traffic and throttle variance had you adjusting the chassis approaching the apex, a little more lock to chase the apex, front bites and at same time that dreaded dip and there goes the rear. Love to get your take. What system was this recorded on? Thanks for posting!

Yes, strange line because of traffic and I was looking at the BMW and adjusted too far track left...dumb mistake and it caught me my total surprise. I had left wheel input and it caught and whipped me immediately over the hump. No fixing the mistake as I tried and probably waited too long prior to full brake engagement.
