I am ready for the next one, and you are so right amp builders do not want folks like me to know how to TUNE an amp. Transformers, the main relay I am setting in north east Alabama on look out mtn. ready to learn God Bless you.

I have defiantly heard of look out mountain before lol that is for sure. If you read in between the lines with my other videos and such I technically teach you how to do what I call shunt tuning. Little here and little there.

@@levonsmallwood6078 Just a slang for tunning the input and output to see which "shunt" capacitor(to gnd) that you'll need to put the circuit into resonance. Good to hear from ya Rainmaker!!! Hope all is good with ya!

Wow, considerable content, probably took me 2 weeks at college to cover the same. Viewers have now learnt that Resistors have the electrical property Resistance that is measured in Ohm's and Capacitors have the electrical property Capacitance measured in the unit Farad, (and a whole lot more) great work. By the way, If you have only 2 resistors in parallel or 2 capacitors in series, then the total value can be found using the Product / Sum method. As an example, 2 resistors of 100 Ohm and 150 Ohm in parallel - 100 * 150 / 100 + 150 = 15000 / 250 = 60 Ohm's. Once again, thank you for your valuable work, looking forwards to Inductors 73's Bob

Hey buddy, the way I look at it, if I can help one person then the video was worth it. My buddy I made these for didnt get to start helping me like we planned so I thought it would be worth releasing them to see if other people can get something from the videos. So I am very glad to hear this. Make sure to check out my other videos when your able.

@@bossman-91 lol lol tunning is going to a gray area lol one of those things that I usually only straight out share with people personally one on one. You usually will never see a builder teaching how to tune for everyone to see. Anyone can build but tunning is a different ball game. I habe taught a few people how to shunt tune but tunning networks is a different thing. Im bound by secretary on my method because it was taught to me by a direct link to Dave who designed the network most of us use. The ole LC Network. :)

polarized passive components. My mnemonic is "short to ground" ... something that as an event usually results in a puff of magic smoke escaping, but as a mnemonic, works well. to remember how to find which is which on an otherwise unreadable polarized widget. Of course it depends on the convention that ground is connected to the negative of power supply. Related is "cats are always negative" to remember the meaning of "anode" and "cathode". Not quite so infamous as "bad boys ...." but works for me, and I can never figure out resistors anyway as "gold" looks like yellow, and silver and grey are too close to white on an old resistor. Thank gods for cheap quick component testers.
