From all the crafting system that I've ever played in a video game RF4 beats them all. It's unique and creative. Once RF5 comes out I'm planning to play staves, thank you for making this.

Some really cool staff charge attacks from these boss drops! Thanks for taking the time, this must have been a lot of work! Not sure I could do any better at naming, but seeing them in action is plenty helpful with your informative descriptions. Looking forward to more of your videos! And remember folks, 42:45 Gotta keep your strength up, by eating your pineapple juice!

Thanks to everyone who's followed this series!! I'll have two videos up in the next week or so to "open" and "end" the series, but this is basically all I can really teach on crafting. I've received some requests to talk about villager equipment, and I also want to do something on monster taming, but that'll probably wait some more time. Of course, you could subscribe if you want to see those when they come out : D also, please continue to give suggestions for attack names in this video

Wait what's the difference between THIS video and your Staves lecture?
@dreamingsuntide12 жыл бұрын
@@metalspinda9594 The previous staff video goes over the mechanics, and about half the staff attacks (all the non-boss items). This one goes through the other (generally, better) half of the staff attacks, which you get from bosses.

Thank you so much for the video! Some of those are so funny lol, love this game. I'm pretty surprised how many of them are unique, that's a lot of content majority of players will never see (which is a shame, really). Great series, I sure learned a lot. Thank you again! Will wait for the next one of course, whenever that happens :D

On this staff testing you can realize that more bosses have love attacks than you would expect, most notable the dead tree apple spells.
@dreamingsuntide13 жыл бұрын
Yeah I was so shocked, this whole time I thought they were physical!! Makes me want to rethink some builds... chuck on a 7-fold Tyrant Turnip and cap out Love Res that way...

"Mist Carnival" can be named Bad Breath after the Final Fantasy Malboros attack. Rafflesia is basically Rune Factory's Malboro

The missile attack name "Fox Two" does fit really well since Fox Two is a code for fighter jet pilot when he confirm firing off his missile
@dreamingsuntide13 жыл бұрын
Wow, okay I didn't know that! That makes that default name really really cool... mmkay I'll change it back.

Alright I'm good for more attack naming! Dragon Bones: Electro Orb Ambrosia's Thorns: Level 3: Blood-sucking Butterflies (Honestly I'd keep 'Vampire Butterflies'' 'cause that is just perfection, but I understand it being too long) Puppetry Strings: Level 1: Back-Attack Laser Green Core: Level 1: Wind Slicer Yellow Core: Level 1: Defensive Spikes Blue Core: Level 2: Hailstorm Grimoire Scale: Level 2: Hurricane, Level 3: Cyclone Slicer Throne of the Empire: Level 2: Seeking Kaiser Bomb, Level 3: Ethel Cyclone (I may be wrong but isn't this the final boss' moveset, and I think Ezel may be the final boss' Japanese name. Just a thought, I might be wrong) MTGU Plate: Level 1: Cannon Fire Rusty Screw: Energy Twins Shiny Screw: Level 2: Giant Energy Twins Water Dragon Ash: Level 1: Water Snipe, Level 2: Water Sweep (Honestly, I was thinking Dark Water Slice before you said it, such a good name) Fire Dragon Ash: Level 2: All-Consuming Fireball Earth Dragon Ash: Level 1: Thunder Call Red Lion Fur: Wind Lion Roars Broken Ice Wall: Level 1: Icicle Spiral, Level 2: Icicle Barrage Ammonite: Level 2: Triple Bomb Barrel (This attack was actually different from the Thick Stick, that one was just a bigger barrel. This one is actually unique and needs a unique name) Level 3: Metal Urchin Earthwyrm Scale: Level 3: Meteors (With both this one and it's level 1 version I think it's better to pluralise it since you never call just one meteor, always multiple) Firewyrm Scale: Level 2: Firebringer Wind Dragon Tooth: Level 3: Venti's Cyclone Alright that's all the names I can think of. Thanks again for making these great videos, allowing for naming and for accepting some of my names. Hope you have a good day!

Thanks again for the name suggestions!! Changed a bunch of them in the spreadsheet again - these names are great!
@Following10003 жыл бұрын
@@dreamingsuntide1 No problem, I really enjoyed going through them! Going through the spreadsheet, you changed the Shooting Star Staffs attack names but didn't change the Crystal Skulls level 3 attack name, since it's the 4th version of that attack. Just wanted to point that out so it isn't inconsistent.

I wonder if you could use Glitta Augite and 10 fold steel in early upgrades to increase the range of later added charge attacks?
@Kahadi2 жыл бұрын
So... Rusty Screw is fast and only changes the level 1 charge... And Shiny Screw is incredibly slow and changes levels 2 and 3... So can't you upgrade with a Shiny Screw, then a Rusty Screw, get both of their charges, and get that Wave Cannon much faster as a result? Also, a lot of these feel like they would be pretty powerful if used the earliest you can get them. Not all, but many. Like using Ambrosia's Thorns to upgrade a staff to use through the Water Ruins against Thunderbolt? Or using the Puppetry Strings on a staff to use against Rafflesia? Might not be easy given their difficulty levels and how much Forge grinding you'd probably need to do to manage them, but still.

Hi What should be the recommended craft materials and upgrades when it comes to staff and still incorporate the items from boss attack? In other crafting series it is not shown :(

It’s a shame that the RP cost on Icy Nose Charge 3 and Earthwyrm Scale Charge 3 are so high because I reeeeeeeally want to use them sooo bad. I wonder if an accessory with Fluffy Scarf and Proof of Wisdom would make them slightly more usable. Even if I could just use them sometimes I’d be so happy.
