My dad was a combat medic on ww2. He lost his leg and came home..He died and My mum had to raise 4 of us without him. It was hard beyond words. Blessings to these brave,honorable men and protection for them and their families. 💜

My father was also a medic, he was in the home guard before the war, and in the war was with the RAMC. He was in the Western Desert Campaign and at the Battle of Monte Cassino, which was really a series of fierce battles. He survived the war. Bit by bit, he would tell me things about being in the war. Witnessing the Luftwaffe bomb a hospital ship off the coast of Libya was just one of them. It took me a long time, as I was growing up, to realise he was traumatised by his wartime experiences. I never thought we would see this kind of WWII heroism again, in Europe, and once again, a brutal Dictator bringing war to Europe. You had a very tough time when you were young, and you have my heartfelt sympathy. I am a steadfast supporter of Ukraine🇺🇦 - our liberty and peace depends on victory against tyrant Putin’s Russia.

He decided to go to war. It was his stupid choice, he could have stayed home and let Hitler destroy communism in Russia. Hitler never wanted to invade and never really did, most of France was taken in some days with a few hundred deads. His main objective was Russia and Bolchevism. . Again with this Ukraine situation people don't know who did what. Ukraine did shelling on civilians since 2014.

This is not because of one madman. Yes, he started the invasion, but almost no one in Russia is against it. 95% of Russians support Putin and particularly this "operation". So, it's not only about Putin. There're 144 million people who live in Russia, and they can't stop one man? They just don't want it. And yes these numbers are real. If you understood Russian, you'd be surprised, how many of them really hate Ukraine and other "Russian" (according to them) countries who want to be fully independent of them. So that's all not because of Putin, that's all because most people in Russia actually wanted this to happen. If Putin knew Russians didn't support it, he wouldn't dare to start the war

I’ve been to Ukraine many times. Once this is over and peace comes again, there will be rebuilding. That will take at least a decade. On the other side, Ukraine will be a good place to visit again. You’ll find sad, scarred, traumatized people but, with a love of life and a greater appreciation for things us in the west take for granted. God Speed from Texas. Stand your ground and fight. We had some crimes against Turkish and arabic people in Germany in the past. Israel is treating the Palestinian people not right and there are minorities in many countries in the world who are not treated well. Is it legal than to invade this Country’s and rape, rob and kill the citizens? Is it legal to bomb 10.000 civilian targets like hospitals, kindergartens and homes? I think no! The President of Ukraine is a Jew and he is legally elected by a democratic vote. The people of Ukraine are are the only ones to change this, not Russia is here in charge. What happens in Ukraine is the problem of Ukraine, NOT of Russia. Maybe it was different hundreds of years ago, but we have 2022 and Russia has no right to conquer back it’s old territories. You can tell these stories to some Russian people who doesn’t know anything else than putins Propaganda but the civilised world, the UN and the G20 is here very clear and speaks with one voice: Russia is wrong and this will not be tolerated. No matter what lies you are telling here, history will judge people like you and don’t forget: the internet forgets nothing. As a German I can guarantee you that the bill of this crime will be payed by the Russian itself, not by Putin. No matter what stupid stories you are telling here, Russians will be judged by the whole world and they will pay the price for Putins imperialism and it will last for generations. No one will care for you stupid Nazi stories from the 20th century. Believe me, we had the same stupid stories 1939 when Germany invaded Polen, exact the same! All the frontline medics have my deep respect being a hospital corpsman with the US Marines myself I know how hard it is especially the mental toll it takes in the long run.
