I would say that now that the late Sen. Ted Kennedy is deceased and no longer the family patriarch, Ethel is the head of the family now, the oldest and the family matriarch like the late Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy was! Families don't just have to be led my men, they can be headed up by strong intelligent women! Just like Queen Elizabeth now who has outlived her late husband Prince Philip! That's a matriarchal family now as well, nothing new! Miss the late great JFK and RFK as well as EMK, saw Bobby in person in 1968 at the St. Patrick Day's parade on Fifth Ave. NYC and was blown away by him! He exuded that famous Kennedy charisma, had a beautiful smile and those twinkling blue Irish eyes! His body was so fit and he wore a blue suit with a blue tie that matched his eyes and his thick golden brown wavy hair practically matched his tan! That energy he had has stayed with me for over 50 years! He had a keen intellect like JFK and great compassion for those less fortunate, like many of the others! May they rest in peace~ still waiting for an invite to the compound since I live in the area! lol

Funny how so many "strong women", (Hillary Clinton, Jacqueline Kennedy, etc.), stay with their powerful cheating husband's in order to use their fame and fortune to make a career for themselves. Jacqueline considered divorcing Jack because of his affairs until the Kennedy Family convinced her that it would ruin his presidential campaign.

Robert Kennedy was wearing Andy William's clip-on tie which he had borrowed the night he was assassinated. As Kennedy was departing the Kennedy family suite in the Ambassador Hotel to deliver his victory speech, he told Andy Williams who watched the speech on television there, that he would do an on-camera hand signal near the end of the speech, (running his hand through his hair), so that Williams and his wife Claudine Longet could head down to the garage to meet the Kennedys for a late dinner afterward. Ironically, Ethel Kennedy later had an affair with Andy Williams while he was married to Claudine Longet.

Matt tons of material has been written about the Kennedys and the connection to Ireland. What town the family came from and when Jackie took Caroline and John to Ireland to visit where the family comes from. So many pictures were taken of the Irish people welcoming JFK, RFK and all members of the family. Google it and you will enjoy all that was written and photographed. They showed so many Irish homes with the President's picture on the wall. I think they have to tell what other countries enjoyed and loved the President not just Ireland. Their homeland is America. Ancestors migrated from Ireland but I'm sure if you asked JFK and RFK, while very proud to have their Irish heritage they would say America is their homeland.

Ethel was of course an unlucky woman, but she knew what she could going to face. She had the privilege to marry such a deep and great man, the best of the Kennedys, The best of the whole XXth Century, and after his death all she could do was wasting his legacy: all of his children, or almost ( what a shame!), hiding what embarrassed her personnally and now trying to keep history apart from the rest of the world, being selfish and in bad faith. I'm not American like you, but I am historian an RFK is my icon and my only faith and regret. Someon, more than one, is insulting and losing all he gave and payed with his life.

I appreciate Mrs. Kennedy wanting to keep his personal papers private, and it is what it is in terms of the brokered deal she made with government; however, the papers about his role as attorney general belong to the country that paid his salary. I wonder if the kennedys realize that it shows arrogance to think they have more rights to know about what transpired during the Cuba crisis, than the rest of us.

Stine Devil The Kennedy's made a deal with the Mob to get West Virginia and Chicago votes in 1960, their father warned them to no avail, then they went after the Mob publicly Robert did, so they assassinated his older brother - using a Patsy connected to Cuba and communism, then they made sure he was shot by Jack Rubenstein a low level cancer ridden associate. Case closed. The New Orleans Mob got permission - this was disclosed. End of story. Look it up - all the RFK movie nonsense is just that. Notice the Mob was fine under the next administration and thereafter. The Warren Commission was a "joke" the father said, and Robert Jr.. released this recently. Same deal with Hoffa - he was too public. Why do you think it's called organized crime? Yes I am a retired lawyer from D.C. age 59. I knew the Mob lawyers and they are all dead now. I will not mention their names of course. Russians had nothing at all to do with it. A broken contract with the Mob is not a good idea and they are not retarded like the Gotti stuff pretends.
@devilstine41928 жыл бұрын
SassyHershsey SassyHershey I actually didn't ask about that I asked about links for the information from WWI and WWII that you said haven't been released, but ok if you want to talk about this we can. For one it's much bigger than just "oh the mob wants revenge" that's actually just spin to take you off the real truth, which is actually backed by documentation. Sure the Kennedy's had toes to the mob, going back to Giancana and Joseph Kennedy during the prohibition era when they ran bootleggers, but that's not the whole story. Again it's much bigger than that. JFK wanted to begin disarming the Military Industrial Complex because he listened when Eisenhower warned him about how large it could get and the damage it would do. In fact he's the one that coined the term military industrial complex. JFK also wanted to create diplomatic relations with both Cuba and the Soviet Union, as well as dismantle the CIA. When Dulles went behind his back and sent sent in an ops to attack Castro in Cuba, known as the Bay of Pigs, JFK was pissed and fired him. Some say that's when he signed his death warrant because in exile Dulles began creating antiKennedy parties, pretty much like he created AntiCastro groups of fighters, and particularly because the CIA obviously didn't want to be dismantled. To get to my point is that it was an operation set up by the CIA, and the military industrial complex. JFK wanted a race to peace not a race to arms and that's exactly what he said in his speech. It's because after the Bay of Pigs he reached out to Castro, obviously in secret as his own administration was staging a coup against him, and why he was able to avoid a Nuclear War with the Soviet Union, despite again the war pigs wanting an all out war with the Soviets, and brainwashing the public into thinking, Communism = Bad, Capitalism=good, but thankfully for all of us and the entire world, he was able to prevent that. This is why we began a race to the moon instead of a race to build another damn nuclear bomb or weapon. Unfortunately before he could carry all this out, he was assassinated in the most brutal way by E. Howard Hunt, Charles Harelson, (Woody Harrelson's father), and Frank Sturgis. No this case is far from over because the memo Hoover wrote in regards to Kennedy's assassination listed George Bush as the head of the CIA at the time, which was hired by Dulles, and then when Dulles was exiled took over. This actually proves the point that the CIA plotted to kill him, and that LBJ had some insight into this especially since he couldn't send RFK. When RFK began investigating and finding proof, he was also assassinated. Then you have JFK Jr. which many believe was also digging and secretly putting this information into his magazine which interestingly he called George, coincidence? Well I'd like to find out what else is in those reports. In fact when George H.W. Bush was questioned he couldn't say where he was at the time of the assassination and at Ford's funeral, he actually grinned when talking about Oswald as a "deranged gunman who assassinated the president" and many of these war hawks continued to profit from the war machine, and have for over 50 years.

I use to empathize and think highly of JFK and RFK till I learned he authorized assassination attempts on Castro and had Diem of South Vietnam assassinated and rumor has it RFK had Marilyn Monroe killed because she was a liability wanting privileges to see KFK at the White House whenever and the fear she was going public with the affair. Not to mention documented sources of RFK covering up all the affairs that papers were goi g to print by threatening them. And lastly JFK saw civil rights as a nuisance like bad acne popping up in the most inconvenient times right before a hot date. He didn’t want to get involved in fear of loosing the south angering the segregationists in Congress. These brothers were ruthless don’t be deceived.
