We've had Attorneys General who have never been lawyers, we have had secretaries of State who have never been in the military, in Chiefs of Staff who have never managed anyone before who all performed their duties amicably enough. She has related backgrounds and literally no one has said that she is unqualified and a lot of people would have loved to say so. The current HHS secretary (acting) seems to be an improvement over former secretary Xavier Becerra who was essentially a corporate shill. Deborah Fink is Trump's appointment to fill the HHS position until the senate confirms a permanent replacement. In Trump's 1st term, Fink was placed as deputy director of Women's Health under HHS in 2018.
