This helped even with the rg353v. Just need to be mindful of the joysticks and the second smaller ribbon cable for the screen.

There are some cool 3D print trigger addons for this on CuIts 3D, you just double sided (or glue) them to the triggers instead of opening it.

I did this on my broken rg35xx out of curiosity. I somehow made it so the buttons are fully clicked in and I can't click them. Will be fun to open it up and fix it some other day.

I haven't broken mine yet but I always think in advance whenever it comes to buttons. One thing I like about Switch is the Joycons and I was kinda hoping Anbernic just do a kind of detachable controllers or something that doesn't need full disassembly.

i had a sunken button on mine. It shipped with the tab facing the wrong way. Super helpful video and easy to fix :)

Can you do the SP model too? I have a feeling it'll be very tricky, but I want to put in the classic SNES buttons

Not necessary to disconnect the Ribbon Cable. Simply flip the cover backwards.

Thanks for this teardown! I just got my RG35XX and this was helpful in troubleshooting the device. My screen was powering on but not displaying anything. The ribbon was further out than you showed but even inserting it further didn't fix the issue. Anything else I can try?? I've already reached out to the seller. 😢

@@processandbeing I reinserted the ribbon and it seems to be working now. I wonder if it's a flaw in the ribbon or the clamp that holds it in place.

I've got one of these coming in Grey. I meant to get the transparent purple. My question is can you but just the shells and can they be swapped over? I'm new to the game lol
