That bit you did with the paper made me think it might be interesting to do something similar in a case with all white LEDs/lighting. If the white light was still addressable, you could program them to slowly turn on and off at different rates and create a "breathing" effect with the cards paint job being illuminated from different angles.

Wow, I think that would look awesome! I've never really thought of improving components' looks using lighting before. Because usually people seem to focus on the lighting itself and using bold, bright colours, rather than focusing on how the light interacts with the components.

That paint variation was my goal when I got my InWin 101 painted but I didn't achieve it that well, I chose a dark cherry color (same as my car back then) with golden metal dust, I had a friend at the car shop that painted my car after a crash (ops) so he used the same paint and added the Golden dust to spray my case (I did all the preparations, disassembly, light sanding, riveting and reassembly). It's an effect I always wanted to see on cases but with a Gpu, it's just as great.

What a nice looking card! I think to properly showcase it you'd need a case that allows for vertical mounting via riser and as other commentators have suggested, it needs a matching case and possibly other components.

Great video and interesting concept. While RGB is great from accenting your rig, this is a great take on toning it down to highlight the parts of the build in a simplistic build. Really nice color shifting, a bit like your nails throughout this video, nice touch! =)

irony is '60 was always a low end, mid range was '70 and '80 high end... now everything is high end or unobtainable.

@@morbid1. According to whom? AdoredTV? There are obviously 4 main gaming capable tiers at NVidia, 50 being the low-end (barely enough performance with somewhat painful sacrifices), 60 being the mainstream (the stuff that most people buy and that runs everything happily enough at adequate quality), 70 being the elevated midrange, and 80 being the high end. Plus of course the sub-tiers like Ti/Super etc. You have to seriously ignore the 50 to call 60 the "low-end". Goes way back as well. Like Geforce 6600 is obviously midrange if you look at the lineup.

cool gpu, I think this is called iridescence, bismuth crystals should also be iridescent depending on the thickness and height of the oxide layering.

I think its incredible that Manufacturers even care at this point to make a nice cooler, they could put the cheapest garbage cooler on it and it would still sell instantly for the same markup, or no cooler at all would sell too

The metal bar running the length of the card is support to prevent Gpu sag if I had to guess. I like the fact Palit is experimenting, I would have to see it in person but overall it looks really cool. Thanks Lauren for the video.

It's pretty gutting that if the gpu situation doesn't improve I'm going to have to "upgrade" to something like this when my 1080ti dies. And it's gonna cost nearly double what my second hand 1080ti did 3 years ago, and it'll be about the same performance.. The market sucks! But that is a really nice looking card..

@@82NeXus Yea, but it could get rightly messy with lots of people buying old mining cards that have been running 24/7 for years, that then die after a few months. It's a really shitty time for gamers. Hopefully Nvidia get their new production facility up and running soon and prices go down a bit..

@@JoeBob79569 Yeah maybe. There might be some business for people repairing cards. Swapping out components, where replacements are available (eg. salvaged from other cards). I personally hate proof-of-work, especially Bitcoin because they have no intention of changing it. It's a colossal waste of electricity for very little benefit to society AND I presume it's messing up the gaming industry. At least Ethereum are working very hard to replace it with proof-of-stake.

A little gimmicky since you won't actively see it shifting, but I do support it strongly because i want fun colors to come back to GPUs. This card could work in a wall mounted open air style case. You'd see the color shift walking around your room at least.

Hate to admit it but this would look amazing in my Thermaltake Tower 100 Mini. Gives you a really good view of the GPU. As an added note, while this isn't exactly my style visually I really appreciate that this is out there. Can't say I'm a fan of a lot of the visual designs apart from the refernece Nvidia cards but I think it's really important to have lots of different choices out there so we can get away from drab tower style cases with the same interiors.

That plastic back kinda cheapens the card for me... I think that given the current state of the market, considering the price you have to pay for the card, that Palit shouldn't cheap on on the details... especially since they want us to pay the crazy amounts they are currently charging. I got very lucky and only had to pay double msrp for my Gigabyte 3070 Vision. The Vision was just the model i absolutely wanted the most (wanted a 3080 vision but gave up on that). So when I found one in a local PC shop i just had to grab it.

I feel bad for Palit. They do good unique designs that in my opinion aren't very photogenic. Marketing it might be difficult.
