The brackets I use for my lights can be bought from Amazon. They are the "StarlandLed LED Strip Channel with Diffusers". You can use these lights in conjunction with them. They will fit. You do need a saw to cut the thin aluminum bracket to fit the detolf. (handsaw should work).

I would definitely mod those and add a diffusion layer. Exposed LEDs just ain't it IMO. I personally prefer the lighting you have set up in the rightmost cabinet

Yeah I originally had a section in the video where I talked about adding the bracket diffuser to it but left it on the cutting room floor. Just wanted to speak about the lights. But These would fit the bracket with no problem.

10:46 Oh wow, there’s a big difference in the light between the 2, the LED strips are much brighter and better coverage, and a very different white. That’s just a regular LED strip? Where has you got the strip, just in the front?

Yup just different LED strips. RGB (left) vs Pure White (right). The RGB is really bright. I have it turned down here.

Yea the price is good, I might actually get these ones for my other 2 cases, nice to have the option of different colours.

Yeah price is fair. I'm trying to find a way to have both white and RGB lights in my case.

A little disappointed how cold the white light is. I would have preferred daylight neutral. I don't think rgbs are for me

Yeah not for everyone, but they have daylight white lights as well 👍🏾

I bought similar ones a few weeks ago for my new cases, except mine are just white, and you can’t actually see the LED, they have like a frosted cover over the lights. But the way it connects is exactly the same. I haven’t put them in yet, I don’t know what way I’ll do it, I might put the lights at the back of the case, rather than how you have them at the front, just to cut down on having to bring the wires back across the shelves. IKEA should design these cases better and have ways to hide the wires inside the case and more holes to bring out the cables. I might drill holes in the back so I don’t have to bring the wires back up to the top of the case.

Did you buy Lukelights? Yeah cable management is my only negative for these lights. I wish they made them so it would be easier to manage.

Yup totally worth it. If I were to do custom lights for someone like this, I would probably charge that price as well.

Oh I'm sure they'll do fine long term. Good lights. One recommendation is to get your own double sided tape. Don't trust the stuff they included but small issue

Mine are "custom." But you can buy these lights (or their white ones - link in description) and then buy the bracket separately. It's the "StarlandLed LED Strip Channel with Diffusers" from Amazon. Just know, the brackets have to be cut, so you'll need a saw. Hand saw and clamping box should be enough.

Thank you for showcasing the product and the walkthrough process! I personally prefer the LED (your current setting) as I like seeing my figures in a neutral white balance, as though in a museum. But I can see the appeals of RGB that can be adjusted for the occasions and mood.

Totally agree! Honestly, I'm trying to figure out ways to fit both RGB and White lights in now lol.
