If you haven't already, hold down on termux screen then tap: "more" then "kill process" and push enter to exit fully. After that, start the process again, but don't leave the app until AFTER the prompt to allow it access to your storage shows up. You can then allow and then freely leave the app as many times as you want. Hope this helps!

I got it installed on my snapdragon 845 based phone but when x11 opens I see the start menu button and mouse cursor for a second and then the start button goes away and the cursor becomes an x again.
