Still wondering how the story and scenarios in Ishin might be changed. They can’t be completely the same, since the original was basically built around player assumptions with the familiar faces and often subverting them. Since Baba isn’t Zhao and Kugihara isn’t Han, I’m guessing stuff might actually make the story kinda new (outside of some of the same scenes) Either way, hype as hell! Glad they didn’t remove the old faces either, and just put them in different roles or substory things

Can’t say for sure, but I feel like they wouldn’t keep the personalities exactly the same if the characters changed. If anything I’ll bet a lot is the same, but some scenes will be changed for interactions, smaller events, and maybe endgame stuff. Bit of an extra gift from RGG if anything lol
