RGV 250..TYGA Project Parts Update ,Classic 2 stroke Suzuki GP Replica build Part 3

Most of the new Parts for the RGV have arrived, just pretty much waiting for the custom Öhlins forks and rear shock now and we can start putting it together, hope you enjoyed the video

I am looking forward to it so much now .. just spoke to the Ohlins guy and the forks are done and rear shock nearly done so should get them soon … can’t wait :)

Man thats a SWEET bike. I can't wait to see it all together. I wish we had throws here in the states back in the day all we had were are old RD's when it came to 2stoke bikes. Which I love the old RD's thats why I have a 79 RD400f Daytona Special. Long live the 2stokes!!

I’ve built exactly the bike you’re putting together. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I’ve upgraded my motor to 300 for extra GO. Make sure you do the gearbox

oh cool, yeah I can't wait now.. just still waiting for the Öhlins ... i don't know what to do with the engine yet , will probably ride it first and then decide, been looking at the 300 upgrade myself

The RGV looks amazing just in bits, can’t wait to see it finished. The other new arrivals are interesting too.. back in the day I had an NC24 that regularly fried its voltage regulator… tracked the problem in the end, turns out somebody who couldn’t see at night put a 100w headlight bulb in it

Yeah I’m really looking forward to getting this done now.. my forks and rear shock are nearly ready, at least you found what the problem was..ha a 100watt bulb 💡eh?? I could do with that in my Fazer 600.. the headlight is like a candle at the moment

The frames welds crack where the shock mount is . From factory they tack welded it. Hope they fixed that. I know I raced one for 5 years and loved it. 92 model. The pipes are nice looking but will they handle a acid bath for cleaning?? I’ve got a set of carbs and a couple of spare engines. Fantastic bike…..!!!! 🇦🇺🍻

The only time I’ve rack the frame before was when I crashed them 😂😂 there will be no acid cleaning going on on this bike.. be riding it on sunny summer days .. I’ve got other bikes for the rest of the year :)

@@ProjectMoto Well I hope you get to ride it on the pipe. Constantly!!! In between 9 - 11 sweet spot. And I still ran the oil tank. never the pre mix. Black frame with Pepsi colours?? Does look good. Goes just as good as a diesel. 😂 🍻🇦🇺

Well as an update it is pretty much built !! I will put some videos on soon … then got to send it away to be painted .. took a while to get all the bits back and we only just got time in the work shop to build it over Christmas and new year

We are actually putting it together now, had a long wait for parts and then for a space on a bench … now although they was delivered ages ago I have had to send the exhaust back as they sent them both up one side where I ordered side by side, I should of checked them but they were very good at TYGA and have picked up the ones they sent and are sending to ones I wanted, will have a video soon :)

Well they weren’t cheap … for the pair with the end cans.. and don’t know exactly where they are made but think TYGA were originally Thailand or Japan or Indonesia… but who knows.. someone must know?? But if they are Chinese then they have done a bloody good job, love em :)

I've seen a RGV250 VJ22 in lucky strike colours at a local classic bike dealer near Derby for £9000 I'm so tempted to buy but have no idea what I'm doing when buying a bike!!! Can't wait to see yours done.

I had one the same back in 1994 brand new…I used it every day for commuting ,riding for fun evenings and weekends,they are great little bikes , an acquired taste I guess as you have to ride them a little different compared to todays bikes , but if you like 2 strokes they are cool 😎
