If you haven't, you should do a budget guide, like best sub 50$, 50-75$, 75-100$ and 100$+ in ears comparison/buyers guide, would be interesting to see how big the difference is between a pair of SoundMagic ones and these ones are

I own these, they are awesome! They are very durable and have an awesome warranty. For those considering these, note that the in-line controls only work correctly for apple devices. The mic does not work on android either.
@dom_h
@dom_h 9 жыл бұрын
+Chronofusion The "T10" version is £10 cheaper and doesn't have the in-line controls. The in-line controls don't do the thing on the label, (volume control) but they still skip tracks etc. Only thing I really dislike is the mic not working. But they are better than anything else out there because of the build quality and warranty.

The solokiller honestly I have them and I don't like them. They muffle your ear too much and you can hear your foot steps and voice too loud. The build quality is questionable as well as the design and they feel cheap. I'm returning mine tomorrow and opting for these. Wish me luck.

Thanks for reviewing these in-ear headphones. There is much less coverage of this product style than over-ear headphones, and a healthy backlog of reviews will very much me help once I'm in the market for such a product.

Seems cool. I like em, the features are functional and great. but for me I think I have a higher emphasize on driver quality, top notch premium sound quality, Just my taste, but those ear tips and the metal braided cable and the swappable filters are all welcome and cool. Just put a premium driver and they're sold for me

I own these earphones but just can't get used to them. No faults with the build quality or styling as these are both outstanding features but for me the highs are just too harsh sounding no matter what filters I put in. I recently bought myself a pair of Shure SE535's and I have to say their sound is a significant improvement over the T10i's, Yes they're more expensive but you definitely get what you pay for in my opinion.
@ThePolarSunlight
@ThePolarSunlight 9 жыл бұрын
That's in interesting complaint. I haven't experienced that issue, and I've used the T10i's on all filters, volumes, and pretty much all song genres.

hmmm. I would like to get more opinions on these. I typically don't like in-ears and for 200 bucks I can get a lot of beer. If like say Linus and Logan would share your opinion that would certainly make me much more compelled to sink my money into this product. I do however really like the fact that the T10i come with so much accessories.

My question is the durability, i have the shure se215 since Christmas and they still work, the longest lasting earphones I've ever had (Probably bc they're the only ones I've spent more than $20 on) but now they're a bit worn so I'm wondering how long these would last
@ThePolarSunlight

The build is incredibly solid. That being said I was messing around with my friends and broke them, but the RHA staff was incredibly cooperative and I got a free repair thanks to the 3 year warranty. They should last a long time if taken care of.

@Razor2048
@Razor2048 9 жыл бұрын
Are the cables completely replaceable, or is there like 2-3 inches that is permanently attached to the ear buds? is the cable cannot be completely replaced, then that will significantly shorten the life of the product, which is unacceptable for something so expensive.

How would this compare to an on-ear headphone like the Sennheiser Momentum on-ear? Can something so small beat a full sized headphone in audio?
@ThePolarSunlight
@ThePolarSunlight 9 жыл бұрын
Size isn't the issue. You'd be surprised how much of a punch those IEMs can pack when you want them to. That being said, the preference between and IEM like this or an on or over ear is all about functionality. What do you use them for? What feel do you prefer? At the end of the day, the only way to tell is to try them, but I own the T10s and I love them.

@hanjaffa
@hanjaffa 9 жыл бұрын
Yes. Every phone made at least made in the last 5 years has a 3.5mm jack(the hole you put the cable in). These earphone and almost every other earphone runs on a 3.5mm cable. For the inline mic and buttons is a different story. If the earphone is made for iOS users, then sadly..you cannot use the buttons and inline mic and buttons for android.

If you're asking if the mic and remote will work for Samsung the answer is no. The headphones themselves will still work but not the inline remote. I would suggest getting the model without the remote
@creamyz5127
@creamyz5127 9 жыл бұрын
Not trying to be a douche here but if you didnt know about the jack...you probably shouldn't get these. Do you have an amp? Lossless files? FLAC files? If you listen to MP3 files, dont buy any headphone over $50. If you listen to music on Spotify(not the premium version, the premium version seems fine), KZbin, SoundCloud, or just downloaded them off of any random website it wouldn't make sense buying these. It would be like buying a cable box even though you dont watch tv. Pointless really. I would suggest the SoundMagic e10. They are metal, are popular because of the sound, and overall the quality is fantastic. Those are $35
