» ABOUT THE GAME: Project Zomboid is an open-world isometric survival horror video game that takes place in urban, suburban and rural Kentucky in 1993 where a virus outbreak has turned the entire population into zombies and you are stuck in the containment zone. You loot, build, craft, fight, farm and fish for survival in a hardcore world where the next scratch could kill you.
» ABOUT THE SERIES: I am playing the Unstable Build 42 branch which adds hunting, animal husbandry, crafting overhaul, updated shooing and weapon mechanics, new skills, expanded farming, an expanded map, audio and lighting enhancements and more. The focus of this series will be to attempt to find a nice game balance for Unstable Build 42. I am playing without mods and on custom difficulty starting in Riverside.

Tires pop way more often now. In B41, I've survived for almost 9 full months and never had a tire pop. In B42, I've had two pop in the first month, and I've gone out of my way to make sure they are inflated and in as good condition as possible.

Just a heads up on two things I have seen popup for other zomboid streamers if you remove tires to swap to another vehicle they drop to zero air and fall right off if not inflated immediately after install (tires were of quality) also if you see a broom grab it so you can clean up coops chickens die if the coop gets too dirty

I know both =] The tire one is silly though, I hope they fix that because you're pulling the entire tire with rim off so its not like it magically deflates.

28:36 I still on the fence, the concept of themed loot makes more sense, helps narrow your search, but it also removes the RNG chance of finding something epic you weren't expecting.

Hey Rhadamant, I love your videos and content👏🏻 In my opinion, the b42 it's great, but it needed fixes so hard. In my run I'm having so much fun, but at the same time I'm fucked😆 first I choosed the trait smoker, I find so few cigarretes that I'm depressed, sad and anxious all the time. I have to read so many books and paperbocks in order to sleep without nightmares. Then, power and water are gone. I lived cooking in a bbq while I forced level up 3 on electronics for conect the generator, and water from rain in cookpots. Agriculture is no working, okey, I think I'll hunt for food. What how the hell I level up carpentry? For rainbarrels and traps? It's broken. The same with maintenance. I stab some trees with knifes for level up, but its unreallistic. More broken things: nails and gasoline weighs too much, car's batteries system it's nonsense, and the light/dark system also broken. Anyways, I still survive😅 greetings from Spain, keep the good work👍🏻

very true, but then again my rail flashlight is considerably brighter than my headlights it's almost laughable

Yeah I mean just a little problematic, especially given you run at like 10mph and you drive at like 60mph so having less visibility while traveling 6 times faster is well .. .yeah
