Great reaction. The "Emerald Sword Saga", created by the band, took five albums to tell the whole story (Legendary Tales, Symphony of Enchanted Lands, Dawn of Victory, Rain of a Thousand Flames and Power of the Dragonflame). The singer is Fabio Lione, one of the best in Metal. The female singer is Constanze Backes. My favorite song from them is "Queen of the Dark Horizons". It's another epic one. Cheers!

The wikipedia page of the album has a nice breakdown of all the people involved in the recording. The band was 5 members back then (Luca Turilli, Fabio Lione, Alex Staropoli, Alessandro Lotta and Daniele Carbonera), and there where more than 30 extra musicians involved in the recording of the choirs, strings, harphsichors, etc. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphony_of_Enchanted_Lands

Rhapsody is awesome; great speed and power metal combined with beautiful hypnotic tunes! Thanks for the react! If you like more, I refer you to the great album _Legendary Tales,_ especially the songs _Legendary Tales_ and _Echoes of Tragedy._ Those two are slower ones mostly, but simply epic. Great faster songs from that album are _Warrior of Ice, Rage of the winter_ and _Land of Immortals._

They had to change there name from Rhapsody to Rhapsody of Fire due to copyright issues. So the first five albums are Rhapsody the rest are Rhapsody of Fire. To me they are just Rhapsody.

This is truly briliant. In the true sense of the world. The ambition that Rhapsody realises is so far above most music of today it is breathtaking. The true name of the band is Rhapsody, they were forced to change after a long legal battle because a label had used the name for some now long forgotten girls band, and they had change to stem the bleeding, in spite of using the name first.
