Hilary could have won had it not been for her newness to the game, Trump took advantage of her aggression and lack of deep knowledge of mechanics like timing to destroy her. I guess Hilary had dragon capture jar specifically for this duel. Unfortunately it’s a very situational trap and the timing of traps is super important and something I kind of fuck up at times too. If she returns for the loser’s bracket, she can utilize the two pendulum monsters that I feel work pretty well with the archetype. I think the Amazoness archetype is simple but fun to play.

We have more development for (this version of) Vader, and having Trump go up against Vader would thematically be a more interesting match-up imo given how many people think Trump is the devil himself. What I think will happen is that Starlord will finagle his way into destroying the Kozmo Dark Planet Vader acquired and tested against Darkseid (Photon Current, perhaps) and put him on the ropes, and Vader will throw out one of his "little guys" (see Battle Fader, Tin Can, Straw Man and the like) to turn things around and win. I'm not opposed to throwing Blue Eyes against Blue Eyes 2.0, but I think that's more interesting as a Deck match-up than as a player match-up.

But who knows what the creator is gonna have up his sleeve anyways. Like I knew Mike Tyson wasn’t gonna go against Ultrons ancient gear deck so well anyways cause of how I heard that deck is meta in the TCG space. But then again, so is blue eyes and even a few Yu-Gi type decks with dark magician and all that. Hell even what I heard, I knew starlord was gonna fare well against Kanye’s Egyptian god card deck witch I’m told is “not competitively viable nowadays” so a few contestants having meta decks may help serve the narrative about who is antagonist and protagonist. Hell, me and my brother called the trump and Hillary match with trump being the winner, seeing how trump was backed into a corner, we knew that trump still had this in the bag. Though the loosers bracket with Gordon Ramsay and the new hungry burger archetype released on Master duel would really help Ramsay scince that new archetype shows a lot of promise for meta game reliability. In the end, it is meta based, but also skill based. As well as hand based cause Joe Rogan bricked his hand in the opening round. Which is a common thing that can bring a competitive deck down. In the end, it is all based on the luck of the draw, as well as how, and when you play your cards. Which is what makes these matchups fun, almost like the anime.

I like how this episode highlights what can happen due to inexperience. I, too, sometimes get a bit eager with activating cards/effects and botch the timing on the resolution. Getting better at it, but still a great thing to highlight. Also, the fact that Hillary got a bit overzealous with Raigeki instead of attacking Dictator of D. Sure the facedown was a worry and she played it safe, but it goes to show that sometimes the simplest solution is the right one, even if it's risky. All in all, a great match and a well made video. And, yes, I would love to see JB duel. Plot twist: JB is the one to save us from Ultron. 😂

Moral of the story don't attack 0 atk monsters without reading their effects. Hillary did seal her fate when she attacked Maiden since if she didn't attack maiden then Trump wouldn't have a blue-eyes white dragon on the field for ultimate destruction destroying a card, and when her turn comes up she could take some LP but Trump would be at a disadvantage because if she attacked maiden twice and Neo Trump would have only a blue-eyes. From their it would be speculation. Also if Hillary didn't use Raigeki yes she would have won since Dictator can redirect attack targets if their is a blue-eyes monsters. Now if this effects is once per turn or if it isn't could change the outcome since in it's text it say use each effect once per turns which appears after the attack redirection effect. If it was a hard Once per turn Hillary won, but if it isn't a once per turn then it would still be tricky with that ultimate fusion he draws eventually.
