Also the gatherer went unpunished (Vader knew he was setup but it was the Emperors orders so Gary was blameless). Palpatine would entirely let him suffer the consequences.

@@Yusis-o7d But the fact that Vader felt the need to beat Quill with the strongest thing he could summon to completely crush his spirit is a classic Sith play. It's very much in character that Vader's belief in the Dark Side and his character-defining arrogance are what lost the duel for him.

I'm floored. I wasn't expecting Star Lord's advantage against Vader would be that he's Chris Pratt: an actor! Now Vader's on the hook with Darkseid unless he claws it all back in the loser's bracket. The suspense is killing me! As always, an excellent episode, and I can't wait for the next one!

One thing I forgot about Kite’s Photon Deck: it literally has never lost a Duel at all! Sure it lost that one time with Vectrix, but with the other Duels in Zexal, it’s practically unbeatable. So you could say Kite has practically became a better Kaiba than the actual Kaiba, than the other Kaiba Clones.
