Best thing they ever did was dial the solos and drums back to give the getaway such a new calm and sometimes even eerie feeling to them that we had never heard before. I also think that it allowed for more depth and feel to be added in live performance that led to some amazing times as fans of rhcp. I miss Josh's vibe and electric energy he brought to every show. He deserves nothing but praise for the songs he helped shape and write over his time with the band!

Yeah the album version is too polished and cuts short Josh's outro. Live T is pretty sweet as well. I love John and that he's back but mad respect to Josh. He was able to squeeze into a giant established band and fit the sound while still doing his own thing. I hope John plays some of the Josh era stuff

They cut Josh just as he was coming into his own. John is great but I feel like Josh was helping RHCP to evolve their sound. It was exciting and this album was really amazing.

Josh was significantly better in TheGetaway and I was so excited for his next work with RHCP but they just scraped it. After listening to Unlimited Love, I realize that Josh's sound was much more modern, John still seems to be stuck in 2007. Great album but expected more of a change from them.

John's getting back into his groove. Give him a couple of years and I'm confident he will be back to his pioneering self. I agree the 2022 albums were like the stadium arcadium era to an extent but John's been out of commission for a decade as a guitarist. Don't forget how modern stadium arcadium, by the way, californication and BSSM felt at the time. John is in a different league to Josh

If you're the artist that's written the lyrics and sings said songs, you can't really "botch" your own art work. As an artist you can change it any time you wish, each live performance is slightly inherently different and unique. It is why so many people go to live concerts in the first place, because it's fresh like a fish.

Deve ter cara, o Josh antes da saída do John já fazia parte da banda, ele era guitarrista de fundo (igual tem um baixista tocando junto com Flea nesse vídeo pq a música tem 2 linhas de baixo, o Josh fazia o mesmo na guitarra com o Frusciante), se tu procurar nos shows de um tempo antes do Josh virar o guitarra principal, deve dar pra achar ele tocando no fundo de algum
