My Rheem water heater after Chang the part still beeping and the filter is frozen . I called the technician talk to different person 2of technician told me because of temperature below 40 f. By the way even 40 f above still beeping and the filter is frozen. My water heater is in garage. Want to know what mode do I need to keeping in winter time?and what temperatures do I need to set. How to fix this problem.

I'm in Florida ..so I don't have experience using this water heater in cold weather... But I suggest setting it Electric mode in this cold temperature... If filter Frozen it means temperature must be below 32 F ... keep in mind night time temperatures could be 10-20 F less than daytime ... When weather warms up switch to Eco mode

Good video. Do you know if there's a way to see (Rheem app) how much time the compressor ran, vs the electric elements? I have my Rheem on Energy Mode (heat pump w/ electric backup). I'm curious how much time the electric filaments have been running. Also, when does the Rheem determine it needs to use them? I know morning showers and the such can use large amounts of hot water. But if then you have the rest of the morning/afternoon before more hot water is needed, I would take the hit on longer recovery time to use just the heat pump to save some money. If I had power sensors on the line, I'm sure I could detect it by the higher current draw.

Review .Heat Pump only most economical longest to recover. Energy Saver 2nd most economic uses HP and Elements. Elements start when 70% of Hot water depleted. High Demand quickest recovery but less economical. With econet app you can monitor hot water availability adjust temperature , see energy usage and set schedules Eco net you can set upto 4 different time frames and you can use different modes in each time frame So you could for example in morning use high demand, afternoon Heat pump only , evening energy saver ,etc App energy use but no time HP or element ran... Per my video recommend upsizing tank 1 size, try energy saver first then you can adjust
