Hello and thanks for your videos and tutorials, I would like to ask you if with programming, adaptation and coding ... is it possible to use the white cable of inpa? or do you need to have an Icom interface? Can i also use the vcx for bmw? is a better solution in your opinion? Thank you in advance

Hi, when I did this, I got the following error in ISTA: "The battery exchange could not be carried out. Possible causes of fault: No communication with IBS or engine electronics" and some other items in the list. I managed to overcome this error by switching off and locking the car away for 15 minutes, come back, turn on the ignition (not starting engine but make sure the dashboard, air blower and all accessories etc all are powered), set time and date of the car. Then do the procedure again. And then it worked. Not sure what exactly the culprit was. Note that I had first coded a different battery type in NCS Expert (including the VO coding of CAS and LMA) because I installed a higher capacity battery than original.

when using ista D under control tree and you have gold modules how do you read the faults stored? and how do you resolve will module then become green thanks i have just started to be able to navigate any help greatly appreciated Robert

I will be changing my original 90Ah AGM battery in my BMW X5 E70 with a Varta AGM battery which comes with 95Ah capacity. I do not see in ISTA that capacity as it shows only 90 and 100. I saw in various forums that batteries which are a little above 90Ah should be registered as the 90Ah in ISTA with the first option that you selected and setting it to non-BMW part. Did you do a similar exchange in that video or the new battery had the exact same Ah as the original one?

Светлин Стаев you are probably replacing it with a varta silver dynamics series battery. You should register it as a 90Ah battery,. Little variations in capacity is not a problem.

hello my car is 2012 model bmw 5.25 xdrive. It currently has a 90 ah agm battery on it, I will switch to a 105 ah agm battery. Operation procedure to define Does it continue with step 2 on the screen, is there any other action required?

what about carly or carley is that product any good for programing. If you go to car throttle the advertiser it as all you ever need but they also done a BMW givaway and the car is still not taxed or insured so that was a way of getting hits .

Ashik A In this case, you have to use ISTA P to code the new capacity.
