My dad died unexpectedly about 4 years ago. I was lucky enough to go on a family vacation to Cancun, and we both overslept on a day we were supposed to go deep-sea fishing. I went out the back of the resort we were at and saw him standing, zoned out, just looking at the beach. We'd had a lot of issues over the years, and were kind of estranged at the time... I decided that there was never a better time to really just talk to him, man-to-man. We had a Cheeseburger in Paradise together and the most incredible time we'd ever shared. Thank you for reminding me of that time.

It’s something you will hold onto for the rest of your life.
