Who’s cutting onions in here? My parents and I didn’t have a great relationship, so hearing stories like this makes me want to strive even harder to give my 4 year old boy the fatherly relationship I never got to have. Thanks for this story Rhett.

I listened to this on Spotify but i needed to say, what Rhett was saying about most father's trying to make everything in to some kind of lesson or moral thing and how he's started letting his son take the lead in conversations is so good! My dad lives in a different country and i rarely get to see him, and now that I'm older I find that him letting me kind of speak makes me want to talk to him a lot more when i don't feel like every topic is going to become some sort of speech i have to sit through. Maybe it's just me being a son and thinking I know everything and not wanting to be lectured but it's really helped our relationship

My dad died unexpectedly about 4 years ago. I was lucky enough to go on a family vacation to Cancun, and we both overslept on a day we were supposed to go deep-sea fishing. I went out the back of the resort we were at and saw him standing, zoned out, just looking at the beach. We'd had a lot of issues over the years, and were kind of estranged at the time... I decided that there was never a better time to really just talk to him, man-to-man. We had a Cheeseburger in Paradise together and the most incredible time we'd ever shared. Thank you for reminding me of that time.

A cross country trip with a father and son should be something every father and son experiences. Just 2 dudes in the car. You talk about things you wouldn’t normally talk about. Life lessons, memories only you and your son will have. Laughs, cry’s, at times y’all will be pissed at each other and all of that is normal. It’s something you will hold onto for the rest of your life.

I worked at Braum's in college. It is a regional chain originating in Oklahoma. Link as a kid seems so down to earth, they always talk about hip hop zzz, but seeing him here makes it all make sense

I was born and raised in Globe Arizona! That’s crazy no one has ever heard of it lol although within Arizona we are famous for our really good authentic Mexican food restaurants. Hopefully you guys got some of the Mexican food there!

I thought Braum's sounded familiar - I have family in northwest Arkansas and I've been to a couple of the branches there for ice cream. Very cool place!

LOL Braums is all over. Why it tastes so good is that they have their own cows. All of their dairy comes from those cows. Its awesome and if any Mythical Beasts see one, I highly recommend!

The reason the owner of the White's house is so mean is because people would throw pizzas on the roof as a reference to the show. It's probably not fun having to deal with that
