The only thing that annoys me with stuff like this is that, before you had metal ovens that actually got hot and we gave them to kids, and sure that is actually bad, but it's a thing we did, now we can't even give kids a thing that may have a tiny plastic bit on it without it being banned and dangerous, and it's like, i get wanting to be protective and safe, yet at the same time, parents should keep an eye on their kids, teach them things, and kids still should be able to live and have fun!

Could not have said it better myself. A child could literally die from anything in your house that is small or sharp. You can't baby proof everything. What you can do is watch your child.
