My struggle with Goldfish is that they are without a doubt my favorite snack. But I only do the regular cheddar ones, and they HAVE to be salty. If I buy a bag/carton and they aren’t salty they immediately get turned into breadcrumbs for future cooking/baking uses.

Xtra cheddar is my favorite, and I was saddened by their reaction to it. Had it gone before cheddar sour cream, I think their rating would have been higher.

It's also possible they got a "bad" bag, like one with not much dust on them. That's the one downside to them imo. The flavor is still good without much dust but a good bag with a ton of dust on them is crazy good. In my experience the cartons of xtra cheddar always have a bunch of dust on them but the regular bags are a gamble.
