Rheumatoid Arthritis - NJN News Healthwatch Report

Lourdes Ritchie has been living with rheumatoid arthritis, and the inflammation it causes, for thirty years. The pain often makes it difficult for her to fall asleep and stay asleep. A University of Pittsburg study, published recently in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, showed that patients who don't sleep well face a greater risk of functional disability.
