Very impressed by you. And I like when you said that “ if you are going to use a product it is your responsibility to read the label in its entirety”. Great video!

Please suggest a small handheld propane torch for sterilizing clippers. Thank you
Thanks, i noticed this in one of my orchids wondering why it was looking woody.

I’m sorry to hear one of your orchids has Rhizoc. Hopefully you caught it in time to save it!

Thanks, Tristan! I have 3336F Thiophanate-Methyl. It’s also a milky white systemic fungicide. Is it as good?
@IngramOrchidsandMore3 ай бұрын
Yes thiophanate methyl is a great fungicide and is effective against Rhizoctonia and many other pathogenic fungi. I use Banrot quite often and one of the active ingredients in Banrot is thiophanate methyl. Banrot has the added benefit of containing Etridiazole as well, so you get two fungicides in one.

Tristan, Did you change your gloves before taking the treated rhizomes out of the 5 gallon plastic container of Heritage and Eagle fungicides?
@IngramOrchidsandMore3 ай бұрын
No but if I was wanting to be extra careful I would have. It would have been the smart thing to do.

thank you! you're nearly the only one on YT who is using chemicals for treatment, unlike the rest, who is using just water, or, best case scenario - hydrogen peroxide or cinnamon 😂😂 have you tried using physan 20 for this purpose? I have several phalaenopsis orchids suspected to have rhizoctonia root rot, and it turns out the fungisides you suggested are not shipped to California where I am located :( I do have physan 20 on the shelf though, I used it previously to treat fusariosis, but didn't seem to help much
