Something so gentle about 2 people who live a very kindly fantasy between themselves, and enjoy keeping the fantasy going. It is just so gentle and affectionate. I cannot imagine them ever arguing. It's a fantasy as delicate as the finest porcelain and they havekept it going so long. A place to escape from the sad realities of life.

I had to pause this video a couple times, in order to fully digest it. Can’t say for sure if I’m awake or still sleeping. Absolute flipping madness. Did she say Sian (the monkey) went to University and studied dance to get that tutu? The story of the bin monkey tree and a sample of the 7 hour jeep party especially make this Bafta material I think . Thank you so much for this! Something about seeing Barry’s mums laugh warms the soul.

The Gorilla with purple fur looks like part of the Magical Murphy range that came out in 1987. I have 2 of them but have never seen one with purple fur before. They had this thing in their stomach so then when squeezed they made a sort of burping/growling/grunting noise. They all came in different costumes. There was a surfer, a worker, a rugby player, a diver, all kinds of things. From what I can tell, they were expected to become this hugely collectable range of toys like Cabbage Patch Kids or even Funko Pops now, but for whatever reason they only really became a cult thing. There was even a song released in France, the title of which translated to "It's Not Me, It's Murphy", which tied into some of the advertising where kids would break something only to blame it on Murphy.
