What other good shows might you recommend. 😊 I’ve been obsessed with Golden Girls for a while now! Loved the Mary Tyler Moore show! And I’m looking for others like those and of course Rhoda! She was my favorite on MTM! So of course I’m loving the start to her very own series! My mom recommended MTM because I loved Golden Girls. Then I found Rhoda. 😅 Sorry. I’m a little awkward. But it would mean a lot of you or anyone could recommend some other shows to watch. I’m newly disabled so I have a lot of free time on my hands. Anyways sorry again and thank you in advance! I hope you have a wonderful day!❤😊

@ I’m so sorry to hear that you are house bound for the foreseeable future and I pray that you are not in any pain.. as for very good shows, I am encyclopaedia! Lol so atm I’m truly fixated with Severance it’s a very recent show but It’s keeping me on the edge of my seat, Dexter is also a big favourite but if you’re not into gruesome crime then maybe not for you.. twilight zone the original was out of this world a bit like our ‘Black Mirror’ but made in the 60’s…. The Night stalker was another show I loved as a kid anyhoo there are so many and I hoped I peaked your interest for now.. some recent shows are 3 Body problem and Bodies on Netflix two great series anyhoo I’ll leave you with those for now.. and I pray you have a wonderful week 🙏🌹😇

This is the starting theme of this show that I like. It is funny, and briefly explains about herself. I have always thought the writers should have just had Rhoda and Joe contented to date or have their marriage a success. I don't know why Joe was such a dick about commitment later, I have known people who were married a third time and it was a success. Ida's interferences didn't help any, either. She was obsessed with marriage. Brenda was often in their apt., even to ask Rhoda for advice on what to wear. Yeesh! I would hate that ship cabin, and that ship. It's a cruise for people over age 70.
@ericminch2 жыл бұрын
This is so funny, reading you arguing with the characters, who were created by the writers. And they say today's youth is out of touch with reality because of all their screen time on computer games and social media. That's nothing compared to all the folks who believe the people on TV are real. That's probably how Tr*mp got elected: "Hey, I'm on TV! Wouldn't you like your favorite TV star to be president?"
@sweetbeauty21535 ай бұрын
@michellepost I agree, especially the part about the Ida character. Rhoda's mom was very annoying and irritating as h*##. Rhoda's dad and sister were sweet and adorable. Joe and Rhoda should have dated for awhile. He really didn't want to get married again and felt pressured by Rhoda. She should have just left that issue alone and just been content to just get to know Joe a lot better. I do recall him telling her straight out in one episode that he didn't want to be married again though.

Rhoda's personality changed from The Mary Tyler Show. She was so acerbic and sarcastic and tough. But here, she's average and her delivery is weak. I bet, as the star, it wasn't acceptable for her to be that quirky, so she had to be sweet and more passive. She's not Rhoda at all in this show. But her sister is fantastic, her sister's boyfriend, and her mother are all interesting and funny. You lose something and you gain something.
