Hello from NJ (zone 7a). Spring blooming bulb foliage dying back and the perennials taking over, particularly the Hosta & ferns. The Aliums are in bloom and beginning to naturalize to my surprise. Loving the many varieties of Aquilegla (Columbine) where some are in full bloom and some are just starting; have many 'volunteers' that I am happy to have. The best news...I was ready to give up on my hydrangea macrophylla, but with our mild winter, the buds did not freeze...it should be a stunning show this summer. Enjoy your channel, your gardens are stunning and always leave with a tip or trick I did not know.

My creeping phlox is also having a great time right now, along with my apple tree and my lilac bushes. I'm zone 5a in the Interior of British Columbia, Canada. I'm always so happy to see one of your videos pop up. Please consider posting videos on Wednesdays too! I'd love to see an update on your new front area. I would also love for you to do a video of your background greenery that sets your garden off so beautifully. Have a wonderful week!

Hi, I'm in 8b up here in Oregon, a refugee from southern California. Roses are my thing; I'm currently putting in a big rose garden & a smaller patio with a low border for annuals, low-growing perennials, "fun' plants & gift plants. I'm also planting hydrangeas of all sorts this year. I live on 2 acres & am surrounded by forest of native white/black oak & non-native fir trees. I love your channel b/c you give ideas & tips for real gardeners who may have limited time or energy, as when you said about the catmint "Don't worry about where you cut the stem, just shear the back until it blooms, then sheer the front," but then you pointed out plants where that was not a good policy! I would love to have a tree peony or 2---when I moved here 8 years ago I thought I'd get into peonies, but there are only so many things I can do at my age, so peonies must wait for a year or 2! Thank you so much for your wonderfully helpful channel.

I'm gardening in east , USA, zone 8b. All of our spring blooms are gone, and the summer perennials are starting. Echinacea is in full bloom along with salvia black and blue, and May night. Panicle hydrangeas are budding up and roses are beginning. Probably the most beautiful time of the year in my garden!

Currently spring here in the US! I have recently gotten into gardening with perennials, I used to mainly grow veggies. But this year I have 50+ perennials I am putting around the yard and I can't wait until they really take off. Your garden makes me excited to see what the future holds for all of these plants!

I'm in zone 8a North Carolina. I planted an Itoh peony Morning Lilac last fall and it actually had two blooms this spring. I was excited because I expected I'd have to wait a few years. It's blooms have passed but I have gardenias, oak leaf hydrangea and clematis looking lovely right now.

Hello there! I ran across your channel when searching for types of different alliums. I grew some bulbs for the first time last October, and they have been in blooms for the past two weeks (im in zone 8a, Georgia, US). They are so so lovely, definitely will grow some more this year. Rosies have been blooming for a month now, and my lilies just started flower two days ago. I absolutely love your garden and thank you for sharing! Have a great day!

I have not tried tree peonies. I love the color of yours. I have a traditional peony, variety Sarah Bernhardt, beautiful pink color here in my North Carolina zone 7b garden. I may try to find that tree peony that you have in your garden. That would look lovely with the one I have. Love your gardens. It always looks amazing. You inspire me!

Good Morning Marta my name is Jacqueline I have a gardening channel as well I am in Saskatchewan Canada we are considered the prairies and I am zone 3B even though they say we are a 4 now I am skeptical our winters get very cold at time down to -40c. Anyhow I just wanted to say I enjoy your channel and how early you get colour in your garden. Some of the plants you grow I can grow here as well such as creeping phlox, peonies etc. I also really like your white rock don’t see to many gardeners use that anymore but it looks very nice and clean.

Looks beautiful Marta! Adore tree peonies and regular ones too. I only wish they bloomed for a longer period of time. I had 2 amazing pink ones flanking my front gate at my previous home. I didn't have the heart to take them with me I know they don't like being transplanted. Still looking for one for my new home and will add. Do you fertilize yours? With what and when? Thanks🌻new jersey zone 7
