hi, in this video little steve decided to play this game called "minecraft". however, since little steve can't read, he misunderstood the game title and therefore played the game without mining nor crafting. just a small misunderstanding, that's it.

Beat a superflat world, a 3x dirt and grass plains biome, and you can place down only one lava source, and an end portal. To make more lava sources, you will buy a drip stone over a cauldron to get an infinite lava source. No starter chests! It's just a suggestion.

I should also add a list here: -No Trees (Only buy them from the wandering trader for 5 emeralds, get oak, not dark oak) -No water or lava lakes generated in the world -Illagers are your best bet for emeralds -Buy a drip stone from a wandering villager for 2 emeralds -You can obtain iron from a zombie -The nights is going to be fun 😁 -You can either collect water with cauldron by rain, or by buying a water bucket for 5 emeralds, and buying drip stones for 7 emeralds total. Not sure if you would know, but drip stones with either water or lava placed a block over it will drip, and having a cauldron can collect the water or lava.

@@centauria9122 How do you get villagers to start a raid? You can't cure a zombie villager cos u can't get gold without going to nether and you can't get apple (wait nvm u can get gold if lightning hits a pig).

@PrimalPower Just need to lightning rod a bunch of pigs into piglins. The oak sapling drops apples, and making gold apples to cure the zombie villagers. This can be done by either getting a witch to throw a weakness potion, then cure villager, or create your own weakness potion, then cure villager, but that would require you to enter the nether. For me, I am doing this challenge right now, but I decided to add on More TNT to the survival world, but the resources I would need are expensive to get.

@PrimalPower Wandering traders sells oak sapling for 5 emeralds, and so you would need to kill illagers with the iron axes to get emeralds from them. Once you have that oak sapling, you finally get wood, and be able to craft a lot more stuff!

24:49 correction: yes, but with luck because there's 1 in a trillion chance you would find an ender portal that spawns naturally with all 12 eye of ender filled in each frame as well as a chance of finding a stronghold randomly exposed in the cave, where you can find a hole to break into one since stronghold can be naturally have the inside exposed

When I saw the thumbnail, I immediately thought "oh no, he is just going to use a custom seed or glitches" but then I decided to give the video a try. I'm only one minute in and I'm not disappointed (though you made the challenge harder by banning hitting mobs). Now, I will continue watching and I hope not to be disappointed. Edit 1: You can find strongholds if you know how their generation works. That'll take too long though (especially without mining). Edit 2: 22:49 I have a feeling you did that on purpose. Edit 3: Nevermind edit 1, I forgot that you need eyes of ender to open the portal!

14:08 I believe the reason you can’t bring your horse to the nether is because you haven’t passed through the portal yet, so the portal in the nether isn’t generated, so the game has nowhere to send the horse to, so it just stays here. Also, there *is* a way around needing to craft eyes of ender, but it requires changing the rules of this run (while still being no mining or crafting): use a set seed, one that comes with an end portal that generates fully lit.

@@Rhododo Another way would be to use a pre-set seed that has an end portal already filled in; could be seen as cheat-y if you keep the coordinates. If you wanted to do it fully legit, you basically run this challenge 10-20 times until a portal generates filled in

Even if he checked all 128 strongholds in every seed he generated, he'd need to generate and search 5.4 billion seeds to just have even a 50% chance of coming across a fully filled in portal. The only feasible way to do the challenge is with a preset seed or with a buddy

Well I kind of already did this in the least achievements run, but I used the dying trick to refill the hunger bar. Maybe it could be interesting to try not consuming anything but in hardcore mode, I'll have to think about it.

14:12, the portal in the Nether has not spawned yet, that's why the horse can't get through, you must go first, then go back to the overworld and then get the horse go through the portal.

However, the only place it would make sense for it to be is in the "secret" room in the ancient city (where many redstone components are displayed), so I'm not sure it would be beneficial to this challenge.

@@bencebarabas3555 It's possible, all right. There are places where you can get naturally spawning lava that's at least 5 blocks deep, so you just have to get water there and either remove the source blocks beforehand or mine the obsidian afterwards. It's not easy or pleasant, but it's possible.

Great video, however you could theoretically do this on a fixed seed, there are certain seeds that have the end frame filled out when you start the world, I guess theoretically it's possible on random seeds as well as you could load worlds until you get a world with a complete end frame but the chances of that are like 1/10^12 or something along those lines so yea whilst technically possible, not realistic on random seed ;p
