Can anyone tell me why I constantly seem to manifest the exact opposite of what I want? I’ll be genuinely grateful and thankful for something (my friend’s dog’s good health, a hot shower, money I know is on its way to me, and on and on) and then the opposite happens!! The dog is very sick out of nowhere, the hot water heater died, and the money is delayed. Some of the things I care about a lot. Some, not so much. But if I dare to feel thankful for it, it goes away. Why?

I had a similar experience.I concluded that I may have deep subconscious programs that I do not deserve good or usual things. Simply "gratitude" brings me the opposite, not only from what I want, but also from what it is. Gratitude was not so close to me. it suits me better when I become aware of what I think and feel. As well as the intention not to enter the reality of other people.apart from meditation, I think it is extremely useful to decide what we want in every situation. On a daily basis, from the beginning of the day onwards. before we start working, to make a decision, what we want, before meeting another person, to realize what our intention is...

Look up law of assumption. Basically it is what you “expect” to happen. To me it does not seem to be self worth. Maybe a fear or resistance to realize you are powerful and that we create our lives. That’s what I having to own right now. I have had the same thing as well happen to me with the gratitude thing. So actually I dropped it until I got what I wanted to be honest

@@amyleblanc5611 Thanks. I think I understand. For example, all day I’ve been thinking that every Christmas Eve is a very difficult time for me. While that’s true for reasons I don’t even know, I can’t continue to think that thought going forward or it will always be that way. So, I’m trying to reframe my thinking on that. Off topic but I read a quote by Byron Katie today that said something along the lines of “all you have is all you need in this moment” and that somehow comforted me on this Christmas Eve evening. 💗

I've been affirming and visualising for 2 weeks straight and I've been so happy and positive with my thoughts.. my tinnitus has got much louder despite affirming that I'm experiencing silence, I lost my job Monday and today I backed into my neighbours car (I've been affirming I have a brand new car) causing hundreds of pounds of damage.. not sure what's going on!!
