Hey guys, this might be a little more advanced steps but it will definitely hone some skills you have already learned.

Hi Drew. Am loving your videos. I’m using the free web version of Sketchup. I have just used Sidecar to add my iPad screen to my MacBook Pro. I can now use my Apple Pencil on the iPad to manipulate my models. So far it seems quick and accurate.

Very cool! That’s a cool option. Do you find using iPad with the web version having more or less options to use?

@@rhwoodshop I don't know the app well enough yet to fully comment. So far I have found all the features I have looked for including printing, SketchUp generates a PDF first which I then print. Being web based I can look at my models from anywhere which is handy when my partner falls asleep on the sofa and I have iPad in hand or I want to show the kids something I've sketched and only have my phone with me.

Enjoying your videos, really appreciate these tutorials. I seem to have problems lining up my corners and sides. Is there a setting to snap to edges? Thanks in advance.

I am sorry Drew. Wasn’t enough detail for me. What I mean is there are quite a few steps you reference too that I don’t understand. This is just not very feasible for me at this time.

It was certainly an involved method. Don’t worry I know it is hard. 😉
