Enjoying this Druid build. Couple things I have noticed: 1st) ONLY run your STR upto 43. Even if it is a bdswd you find on the cow lvl. Thats fine. Do NOT rush to Larzuk and have him socket it. Start NM Act 1 and do up thru your Countess runs. I have yet to get past the Countess in NM, and NOT find a Crystal Swd with 4 sockets already in it. 2) Dont be in a hurry to make the Ancients Pledge Shield. I found (before Countess NM.. Hsarus Belt, shield and boots: +20 Life/Cold Resist +97 Def; 20% Fstr Run-Walk/25% Fire Resist, +370 AR; +10 STR, Dam Red 2, Light Resist 25, Cannot be Frzn, Thorns 14. No help on Pois Resist, but LOTS of help in other needy areas....Might do a Spirit Shield to pair with the Spirit Swd if I can find the Resist via charms.

Okay.. so this video kinda solidifies that these are like 2010 strats. The Summon Druid is literally busted, to recommend elemental over summoner druid is just mindboggling. The new Raven+the entire zoo, i was able to solo all of Normal, Nightmare and most of hell without any problem and hardly any grinding. Just a few runewords, and farm. Also, for those interested, put 1 point into bear, transform mastery, and get shockwave (all just 1 point; yet your +to skills buff them). Shockwave + ravens/bear/spirit for damage, and wolves for meat shields is too good.

I really love the gameplay experience of the fire Druid. I’m going to save my respec and see how far I can go with the fire Druid. I’ll stash away good cold build stuff I find though. A major reason I want to hold off is because the fire is way fun to play with vs the tornado build is super annoying when I have to run around and recast over and over to hit an enemy directly in front of me. I love how fissure and volcano have the large AOE.

Windy druid another unchanged build from pre 2.4. If you guys want an interesting build try druid summons you can have them simultaneously now so 5 wolves 3 dire 1 bear & 1 heart of the wolverine. They seem to do good damage too

@@ZytheJR I got to hell primarily playing summons and yes, you'll be able to get through the game just fine on your own but they do start slowing down a bit late nightmare and hell, but that's when ideally you'd make the switch to wind druid or something. They'll super strong though early for sure

ive got to say, the fken staff at act 3 took me 186 games, to finally arrive there with a total of 20k cash, the staff was fking 70k! had to sell every item i had on me to achieve the purchase, ive got no more jewelery, helm/boots,gloves, emptied my bank beside runes, fken hell :O

This is really cool and all but I'm kinda disappointed its so strictly elemental. I was having fun with transformations and summons, I wanted to see a build that focused more on those. Is there any merit to having a balanced build or is it all about dumping everything in one or 2 things?

I honestly will probably start as summons and transition over to wind. Testing out summons in early game they're really strong and safe no need for pots or anything obviously they start slowing down a bit further into nightmare and hell but that's when I'll make the switch.

As much as I prefer the summons myself, they're really not. The Summon Druid is only at its peak endgame. You can definitely get through Normal and whatnot with solely summons but it's a struggle and a slog around the end of act 4. Not to mention there's not really an effective way to level a Summon Druid. You're going to struggle against late game stuff no matter how you distribute your skill points.

i would not reccomend wasting your charsi imbues on druid helms early on(unless you're playing single player or solo self found, in which case it's totally your call) you're gonna be running a Lore anyway and then hopefully a Jalals and you can save your charsi imbues for when you're higher level and then use them on circlets which can be worth alot with the right rolls. You'll also definitely want to get to 156 strength (either with hard points or +str gear) so you can use a Spirit SHIELD, it's just too good to not use

I've been trying out the summoner druid (strictly summoner skill tree) for 2.4 on the live server, it has really good survivability and damage. The only two things that's kind of annoying is having to constantly reposition pets and you don't really do much yourself as the druid you just let your animals do everything. Overall though if you're into summoning pets and letting them handle everything look the build up.

@@jordanwilliams4033 Yeah I tried Werebear with summons as well, it was fun but it was lacking some damage which makes sense because it's more of a tank build and it probably requires high end gear to make it descent. Only downside is you can't use Engima while shapeshifting which would have been kinda cool if they allowed that.

Yeah its the type of class I like to play and its just fun for me. Right now I have a named set gear equipped and it makes my Melee almost as quick as the werewolfs attack speed so I can hit hard and fast while tanking for my ally.

Potentially but only if you already have some gear for them. They need a good weapon for each stage of leveling, have to deal with AR issues and they are generally poor at any form of density clearing (unless you go for rabies but that takes too long to actually kill the target). If you want to go in that direction, you're probably better off leveling with a wind or fire druid and then respec later.

Cross gen works, Xbox One can play with Xbox Series and PS4 can play with PS5. No cross play for both and no split-screen for D2. There is cross progression in D2, so you can continue playing the same character on different systems.

8:30 -40 for NM and another -60 for H. But this build you're suggesting requires a very active playing style, and becomes fatiguing quickly, also it takes forever online. For solo p/7 I just max out vine, then 1 point into animals until I get bear, and some points into cyclone armor. Much easierr, lazy build that takes you to NM act 2 easily. 9:07 much easier is to equip a 4 socket sword with jewels that grant resistance and let pets and merc do the hitting. 12:12 stop mentioning castrate.

I made a few attempts at speedlevelling with it as i really don't like playing Ele Druid that much but i'm a huge fan of Shapeshifting. The short version is that it sucks, its not explicitly said but there's a ridiculous amount of mobs in the game that are highly resistant to poison even when they aren't labeled as poison immunes. Most common undeads are (Zombies, Skeletons etc.) so are most Demon type monsters (Venom Lords, Moon Lords, the last Baal Wave etc) who tend to be some of the hardest mobs in the game, that includes end of act bosse. The only decent workaround i found is running around with a weapon with a high proc chance on Open Wounds on the main set (basically a Steel Flail early game) for regular mobs and an offset with Crushing Blow (basically a Strength or Black Flail early game or a Shael'd Bonesnap if you're incredibly lucky or smurfing) and play a hybrid version of the build using also Fury. But even then it wasn't amazing as it spreads the build thin and i was running into Hit Rating issues from not being able to invest into Werewolf. So yeah, just not great in general. Really disappointed 2.4 introduced nothing to make poison builds more viable (besides Necro) but it is what it is.

@@smarac oh yeah for casual play it works fine. Just certain situations you'll find painful in A4/5 (basically Chaos Sanctuary and Baal waves)but you can make it work if you take your time and maybe overlevel a bit.

Holy fk shit if u dont know how to play the game, dont teach others ;/ For most classes its beneficient to put 4 lvls of stats into energy to improve its regen and reduce downtime, lvl 9-17 you farm tristram+ countess. You will get to 17 in less than an hour and reach act 2 with lvl 18-19 giving you more power to begin with ;/. You dont ever do single element wind because tornados are inefficient, weak and have next hit delays, its best to do hybrid with armageddon. This is f ELEMENTARY information.
