I think the conduit shrine should be completely redesigned. I would prefer to keep my own skills and have it just give me a lightning effect around my character, set my movement speed to the cap or even beyond the cap, and add lightning damage to all of my attacks.

I ha e an rx 7900 xtx.... if I run d4 via battlenet.. it will crash unless I turn the adrenaline software to use eco mode. I've now moved to playing it on steam and now no crashes.. not sure why that would be the case, but it's worked for me.

The problem with D4's stash is that they built it in a terrible way. I have no idea why they would make it so you have to load every single persons stash tab around you while in town, since that is what they stated why they can't just give us what we want. They coded it in such a way they won't be able to ever add anything remotely close to what PoE because it would completely destroy the stability of the game. They need to completely rework the inventory/stash system which they won't do.

It's probably an anti duping measure. People used to just walk up to you in older Diablo games, create an item out of nowhere and just drop it for people not running cheats. If multiple people have each other's inventory loaded and one person creates something, that everyone else's load of the their inventory doesn't agree with, then Blizzard knows that item was not legit.

3:53 it's great to hear acknowledgment about the crashing.I crash about every hour on D4 only no other games have issues. I put in a ticket and followed every instruction given to try and fix up to and including reinstalling windows. After nothing worked and clearly being a D4 issue the GM blamed my 32 gigs of ram telling me "his computer ha 64 and he has no issues playing" and closed my ticket referring me to the forums. I reopened a ticket and tried to get a more human response and it ended much the same. I stopped playing because I'm tired of losing mats and buffs on random crashes. Blizzard tech support is really offensive nowadays.

I would have liked to seen this: Instead of just a hard to see red glow around a shrine, put piles of hay, pumpkins and maybe even a scarecrow pinned to the shrine. Click on the shrine and a visual or audio que plays. Maybe like a singsong rhyme or the pumpkins and scarecrow eyes light up bright. Then the shrine either spits out between 2-5 goblins OR The Butcher. Maybe give the Butcher a chance to drop new cosmetics.

The season mechanic wasnt designed to be fun. Just like everything else it was designed to add extra grind and extra RNG to try and keep people playing longer. Blizzard needs new leadership. None of them understand that people play something for long periods if its fun, not if its just designed to make them grind forever.

I'm having a great time hunting Butchers on low-level toons to get easy access to Infernal Horde uniques before Torment difficulty. Also anyone thinking that Blizzard is "wasting dev resources" by making a shrine glow red and summon a goblin or a butcher is flat-out delusional. Sure, the Blasters have every right to complain that this event isn't enough for them - but the casuals? We're having an absolute blast and we do not share your concerns at all. Just ask them to put the event shrines in the Pit, I guess? C'mon now.

diablo 4 never made me feel like what I did ingame was for nothing, but in this season it just feels like I'm beeing jerked around and my time isn't worth anything unless I just oneshot the game with their new character included in their PAID EXPANSION. So to me it's clear - they want our money - but they don't reinvest the money into quality, sad - but hey! there are other games out there that liten to their community and fix things and adapt to their loyal crowd =)

For me, it was quite the opposite. I only played season 2 in terms of seasons, got to kill Uber Lilith and that was it. Didn't buy the expac cause I assume campaing would be shit and the game will revolve around spiritborn. Guess what happened. Game is average at best. This season you farm paragon 300, next season they nerf the xp so it takes less time. Game has no compass and Devs are just juggling around.... just wake up people. Jeez....

I think a good quick way to do the holiday events is to have decorations in the main cities, then have an optional event where maybe you go to a special holiday dungeon and fight a holiday boss to earn rep for rewards which are just cosmetic holiday specific rewards. I think what they need to do for a holiday event is just have the majority of sanctuary snowing, covered with snowy icy gargantuan beasts. Which would be cool as hell to bring back that mob. Although, I can't imagine what it would look like to have it snowing in the Dry Steppes or Kehjistan. They would have to really change the color palette of everything. Kinda like how they were able to change the color palette drastically with season of Hatred Rising. Those areas look SO different when the realm walkers spawns. Making it dark and gloomy as hell with the color changes, along with a blizzard of snow forming would be a great event.

Here in Aotearoa New Zealand our politicians are accountable to us, the people they serve. The PM for example comes on TV weekly and is grilled by the show's presenter on current issues and problems his government might have caused. This is a part of our culture here. I’m (I was?) a big fan of Diablo franchise, playing D2 and D3 for years, read some books, was supporting D4 from the start and even though the game had some problems I wasn’t complaining but rather enjoyed the game with my wife. However even I am very disappointed in the game seeing how console couch coop is treated. There is a major bug existing since the beta: necro minions getting stuck along the way and not being able to resummon them, which sometimes end without any minion until you TP to base or sacrifice minions, neither of which is possible in the Pit, then you have to restart the Pit :) Yes, this is still happening in November 2024, meaning 1,5 year after I noticed it in Beta, despite posting videos of this bug on the forums. Infernals hordes is bugged in console couch coop as well, since the wave sometimes is stuck and it says to kill 1 monster while no monster appear and you have to restary the whole compass. Instead of fixing these bugs they create new ones that weren’t existing before, like curveyor where its impossible to buy items until you change tab to your invetory and back to curveyor again. So while in theory the game supports console couch coop, in practice it only introduces new bugs even to existing functionalities without fixing other bugs, its getting more and more bugged. Its a shame because Im only playing couch coop and it tells me that they dont care about it, very unprofessional. Thats why I havent bough the expansion yet and possibly will never do it at this point, which is unbelieveable considering how much hyped I was even playing season 0 with this necro bug. Their incopetence destroyed it all

I went to start a Necro as a 2nd character and gave up when I saw I had to redo all strongholds, locations, etc. In a seasonal game where we're replaying the same content every 4 months, you should have 100% shared progression across characters (or at least make it optional). By the time I finished VoH campaign I was basically level 60 so I would have enjoyed clearing other content like strongholds with a second character IF it was shared seasonal account-wide progression... again like PoE lol.

Your level from 1 to 60 on each character. Strongholds are a very easy source of experience as completing them gives you a full level in most cases. They are also optional. Your paragon is shared. If you get your necromancer to 60, it'll get all your paragon points. If you do not want to level your necromancer, ask a friend to kill enemies in a T65 Pit while you stand at the start. You will be 60 in less than 20 minutes.

I am done with this game. I have spent over a year hoping Blizz will take the game from fairly decent to amazing. I thought they were on their way with Seasons 4 and 5 but this expansion pretty much killed D4 for me. It proves triple-A studios have no soul. Blizzard literally couldn't innovate themselves out of a wet paper bag. Who on that team thought making a glorified D3 was the way to go? I could give 2 sh*ts about balance and bugs as they can be fixed (well mostly given a good team of devs) but taking the lazy way out every single time because your studio has Neanderthals for developers is too much for me.

I feel as a gamer that we should show good morals, like this not losing our shit over a setback. Because gaming and gamers do get a bad rap most of the time. I always tell people that gaming is actually a good mental health tool. 1. Better you beat the crap out of a character you can imagine is someone one that angered you, than the real person that angered you when you can't let it go. 2. A good way to get people to do chores, challenge them to something in a game, like kill X amount of creatures, build structures, etc. Works great for siblings to that hate doing a certain chore over another. 3. Get the whole family involved on a game and there is your family time, playing a game, having fun and making amazing childhood memories.. 4. Best stress reliever I found as nothing like tearing through a mob to lift your spirits as you dance away on the other side. : )

Halloween and Christmas stuff is particularly egregious because it's always the same old been-there-done-that shit, regardless of the game you're playing. I think the holiday event should replace the Tormented bosses with holiday themed versions of them. For example, Varshan's map could replace the malignant growths in the tunnel with "malignant pumpkins". Then, when you get to Varshan, he looks like an evil Scarecrow rather than his normal look. On kill he could have a chance to drop a holiday themed transmog. I say chance, to entice people to do it over and over.

They need to just add the Horadric Cube, and have top tier crafts require large gem fragment investments. Like an example would be something like 100,000 of each gem fragment + Whisper Cache = a Cache with a guaranteed unique and higher than normal chance for Mythic Uniques. 100,000 of each gem fragment + Specific Runeword Combos = Specific Uniques with at least 1 Greater Affix Something like that would allow them to easily add in resource dumps, while incentivizing doing less popular activities, and extend the usefullness of seasonal mechanics beyond being something that is discarded with the next season.
