My only disappointment with S7 (may have been in 6 too) is the change to mythic unique crafting. The 6 runes are a pain. I’ve gotten 3 wrong mythics (plus journey and rep shards) and 1 of the 6 legendary runes I need. Sounds terrible to farm endlessly for something as random as the runes and no desire to deal with the trade market. May hop on occasionally, but overall I guess I’m back to WoW til S8 as my progress seems to have hit a wall.

I literally just "finished" with season 7. Overall, very good season. Had my fun, maxed out the season journey and the battle pass. Completed pit 150 in hardcore. Good, stable season. Finished just in time for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 launch. Looking forward to the next season.

The gaming industry will have many more layoffs, as the overbloated investment bubble is now finally popping. 19k people working at Ubisoft, god knows how many at Blizz etc. What for? Look at stark contrasts like FromSoft and Larian with their 300-500 employees. Why do you need a bajillion people work for on your games? What i think they did wrong was to force a sloppy version of a endgame into the PoE 2 EA They should have done 2 things 1. Keep Making PoE 1 Leagues 2. Either delay or skip the endgame portion of the PoE2 EA

I actually think you get too powerful too quickly. Especially in the endgame where you nuke everything and get randomly one-shotted by something that comes in from off screen and stomps you. The random one-shots are the biggest problem imo. (And yes, I have max res and all that…)

i kind of understand GGG, i mean is a big AAA studio now but never forget they started as a tiny fans project in 2007, in that sense they are like jagex, commited and doing stuff really well, but still somehow isolated from industry experience to handle business things like pr disasters and realistically handling expectations. hopefully poe2 keeps advancing, im currently playing and i dont find anything wrong with it, it just needs more polish and bugfixing before start adding content (this feels just like back in 2013 when poe1 was in open beta on route to 1.0). if it can make things ligther after the next poe1 league they should consider doing a legacy league 2.0 for poe1, the legacy league in 2017, was just one of the best seasons theyve done imo and since is basically a rerun of past leagues its probably easier to put together than a entirely new mechanic

PoE 2... it's just not my game. They reintroduced all the things they finally improved in PoE1 after years and years of annoyance there - like Monster visibility (which got so much better in PoE1 over the years, it's crap in PoE2), on-death effects you have to wait to progress (why? it's just breaks flow, nothing else), HUGE visibility problems of effects and swirlies on the ground (again, why? PoE1 had and has this a lot, everytime we cried and pleaded that you just can't see shit, and now they, again, reintroduced everything). Trade is a pain. Game is balanced for the top 0.1% and for trade. Crafting is worse than ever. I just don't understand how they can create a game that just inherits all the bad PoE1 got rid of after years of effort from the community. With PoE1, many problems were holdovers and just happened, design decision that weren't a problem in early years biting them in the ass after a while. But in PoE2 it's now their CHOICE to have those awful visuals, to reduce QoL, to balance completely around trade, to reduce melee completely to the sideline, and on and on. So yeah, PoE2, in it's current state, feels like a big "fuck you" in terms of QoL and visibility. It's not fun to play for me, so I won't. I'm waiting for LE Season 2, and for PoE1 getting love. I highly assume LE S2 is not only quicker, but that PoE1 is dead anyway. And to all those that cry "show poe1 some love so they see you are interested" I say "Pff. I will not put hours into a game that they abandoned just in the hopes they do something. It's on them to make a move, and maybe it's interesting enough to bring me back. Or not and it dies. I am not needing PoE1, but they need the players."

They openly stated the current endgame was thrown together just to give players something to grind. I believe POE2 needs to scrap it entirely, and I suspect the developers realize this too. With all the new content coming, they’re likely focused on building a proper endgame. The absence of a Waystone tab hints at this: if they intended to keep the current system, they could have easily introduced a tab for it. Offering a paid tab for something they plan to remove would definitely upset fans. Hopefully they go for something that is more reigned in and encourages more targeted zone farming and exploration.

I would say S7 is probably the best t4 experience I've had to date. Dance of Knives Rogue build is very fun to play as I love the whole spin to win mechanic. Last season the most fun I had was with the Fireball Sorcerer but the Rogue may have surpassed that. I know Blizzard gets a lot of criticism but from a fun vantage point I've got no complaints with D4. I've completely stopped playing D2 and D3.

Yea it's boring but did HD for about an hour on T1 and got two altars. Noticed when I did there weren't any other things on that level. Was still playing minors at the time trying to get my pants, was able to switch to BW last night and it's insane damage, but it definitely works. I'm assuming at higher Torment levels it would be even better! I only did the top, ran a circle running back out and reset.

For infernal hordes i feel they nerfed it in a sense as well for the hellborne and elite chances like youll get one then bam soulspires everywhere. Ran 30+ and always the same outcome and it seems if you run a 10 wave hellborne likes to show up around the wave 4-6 wave

I ran hoarfrost dungeon with a duo both potted over 400 quick in and out runs and never saw a single WC Alter also ran loads of NM dungeons as well, took me getting all my glyphs to level 100 running pit 115 over and over to find 3 alters and I have yet to get the last one for the Pranahado. Guess I just have crap luck.

Season is overall good but not totally smooth. Friend I play with has an AMD card and crashes 50% of the time when teleporting since s7 start. I've seen only 1 head drop, and I'm in T4 already. How many do I need for my occult gems again? I saw no altars until I started spamming that 1 dungeon on repeat dozens of times. So, where I think leveling is a bit too quick, the paragon and postgame is tedious. Also, ancestral drops are better than last season (the lack of drops made me give up for the season and try poe1), but still not great. I honestly don't care for non-ancestrals in T4, I'd rather they get auto-salvaged for materials/affixes instead of forcing me to use town portal every 2 mins.

I play D4 mainly on steam deck. If you download it on internal storage, game runs amazing. Don’t even have to have everything on low settings. Looks honestly pretty good on steam deck. If you download and run in on external SD, it runs like shit. Bought game on launch, then re purchased it on steam when it came out specifically to play it on deck

Poe2 doesn't hold up well on PC let alone on Steam deck. I still get crashes all the time and have stopped playing and luckily season 7 came in at the right time.
