Came here from “The Resident” . My dad recently passed away due to COVID and the exchange “ so she never forgets her grandmothers who I am sure would have loved to see her but left this world too soon “ that and this song I can’t, I just can’t stop my tears. I hope the world recovers to see a brighter day . I know this song will stick with me for life. To the creator of this “god bless you 🙏🏻”

Geri Legru True happiness can only be found in God, for only He can meet the deepest yearnings of our hearts. Let me explain. You see, we aren't on this earth by accident. God created us, and He put us here for a reason: to know Him and to enjoy His presence in our lives, both now and throughout eternity. God even created us with an empty place in our hearts -- an empty place that He alone can fill. The Bible says, "He has also set eternity in the hearts of men" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Whenever we try to fill that empty place with anything or anyone other than God, we are bound to fail. No matter how many things we have or how successful we are, that empty place is still there. But when we come to Christ, we discover that God loves us, and He makes us part of His family. More than that, He comes to live within us by His Holy Spirit. Think of it: God wants you to be part of His family forever -- beginning now. By faith turn to God and tell Him that you know you need Him. Then open your heart and life to Christ and ask Him to fill the empty places in your life. Jesus promised, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives" (John 14:27). Turn to Christ today and discover the joy and peace He alone can give. www.google.com/amp/s/www.seattlepi.com/news/amp/True-happiness-can-only-be-found-in-God-1213644.php

lyrics: It was golden looking back Some kind of heaven in my hands For so long I was busy making plans Couldn't see the things I had 'Till they are all gone Well so much has passed me by And I didn't realise So try to your dying breath To hold on to happiness 'Cause life's just a moment And one day it's over And it's cruel how the time can pass The deepest rivers moves so fast And life's just a moment So know when it's golden Hold on, hold on, hold on Hold on to happiness Hold on, hold on, hold on Well I miss talking late at night Getting drunk on cheap red wine Yeah, we were so close So now I'm trying not to waste the untamed seconds of the day 'Cause I know So much can pass you by You don't even realise So try to your dying breath To hold on to happiness 'Cause life's just a moment And one day it's over And it's cruel how the time can pass The deepest rivers moves so fast And life's just a moment So know when it's golden Hold on, hold on, hold on Hold on to happiness Hold on, hold on, hold on Treasure it while it lasts 'Cause you're never get it back Never get it back, no, no And regrets can hurt the most So when you got it Don't let go Don't let go So try to your dying breath To hold on to happiness 'Cause life's just a moment And one day it's over And it's cruel how the time can pass The deepest rivers moves so fast And life's just a moment So know when it's golden Hold on, hold on, hold on Hold on to happiness Hold on, hold on, hold on Hold on to happiness Hold on to happiness

I know most people won't care but I want to put this out there. A year ago, I was in a horrible place. And had been for almost 4 years by then. I was alone and lost and self harming with multiple suicide attempts. Last Thanksgiving I tried to kill myself. When I came to, I made a promise to myself that I would go a year without selfharming while also going to my prom, graduating high school, getting into university and reaching my 18th birthday. Essentially taking my life back from the years of depression and the events that put me there And I'm glad to say that I'm a less than a week away from keeping this promise.

I mean, he's right. Life really is just a moment. Think about how old you are and how fast all of those years went. No, it's not going to slow down. Life really moves fast. Just enjoy, take chances, and loosen up, because why not. Try not spend all of your time being negative and sad.
