this was definitely one of rhys better dances, really prefer seeing this smiley rhys and it’s nice to see him back in his comfort zone again, it will be interesting to see more slower dances though!

Rhys would appear to be the most nimble of them all! He is so light on his feet and is a joy to watch. Yes his frame needs work but not that much. Can't understand why it is, he puts so much work into it, performs really well and seems to get more criticism than many other dancers. He is way above some of them with his impeccable footwork!

Rhys has great rhythm , footworks But the judges know that if his frame is more stable and better he would be one of the best contestants in ballroom this season , in Latin dances he seems more comfortable

Great song and I can tell he’s trying very hard not to overdance it. Frame is improved but still needs to be more forward. He had good footwork which allowed him to travel well. Great effort! 8!

Wow! Ballroom Rhys is back! I still maintain his first dance was his best ballroom, but this shows how much he's improved. Definitely the frame. He didn't put too much energy into it that it skewed the dance. He's definitely in sync with Nancy. They really glided across that dancefloor.

Score: *8.5* Can we just clap it up for Rhys not being frantic alone! I mean that alone should get an extra point! But the footwork was pretty damn good. Nice leading Nancy across the floor. Everyone is saying it, the frame still needs some work BUT he is improving it. Other than than, my favorite dance from Rhys thus far and that does include the Couples Choice!

Rhys is such a natural performer and great dancer. His footwork and bottom half are great. If he can improve his posture and top line for the ballroom dances I think he will be right up there with the best dancers :)

Well apart from the frame this was worthy of a 10, the footwork was perfect not a single mistake, there was so much content and movement across the floor. The Charleston section was the best part though and all the little detail in the hopscotch section was amazing. It felt like for once he was leading the dance and had a connection with it. It's by far the best Ballroom dance he has produced it was light, bright, lively all the things needed. What the issue is I would like to see something that he connects with emotionally because its always very one dimensional hes always just happy and bouncy I want to see something new in the future, for the QS that was the perfect character but I fear for him in other dances. *9/10* for sheer difficulty

Such an improvement from Rhys, impressively quick feet and energy as always with some good technical skills. I don't know why, but when his free hand is behind his back it just looks unpleasant. His frame is improving but still needs work. Arms are slightly droopy and still a tad far back. Little bit of a stickyouty bum too. 8

8 I'm glad Ryhs is making improvements in his ballroom. He clearly takes this very seriously and I felt bad for him as he looked a little disappointed that his top-line hadn't improved enough for the judges. I thought they were a little harsh with their comments, although their scores were almost little generous. I personally didn't love the song choice and theme of the dance as it didn't have that wow factor for me, but the speed, timing and footwork were all very impressive. Unfortunately, his frame now has a different problem: he's leaning back more now, which is good, but his body is still pushed too far forward so he needs to relax his upper body and neck-line more. I think this might have to do with his natural stiffness so perhaps it's a bit unfair to keep mentioning it but hopefully he can defeat the problem if he works hard enough on it

This dance was way more up his ally. I think the frame is frustrating him a lot that he can't get it right. And I feel like he doesn't see or get what he is doing wrong exactly and might be irritated with Nancy telling him off. But they are a great couple and he is an amazing dancer out of hold. He is improving his frame once that is in the clear hell be insanely good.

@@kyra6744 The frame is the way the dancers hold their hands, arms, shoulders, neck, head and upper torso. A good frame helps with balance and movement and also produces a good appearance of the dance couple

Great freestyle dancer just cant hold on to that frame it starts in a good position then the elbow just drops if he can master that these 2 could go further than people think in the series

The frame still needs work though - the left arm is drooping and not parallel to the floor - given this is his third ballroom dance. But he’s definitely learned how to channel his energy correctly

Rhy's energy, exuberance, speed, dynamics and musicality were truly brilliant as always! His frame wasn't good though, he needed to glide much more and he needed to sort of some of his lines because they were not clear. Most of the actual quickstep steps he did needed refinement - more pushing into the floor, more straightening of the legs, improvement on his frame (as I've already mentioned). On one hand, he had unbelievable control, because he was so exactly on the beat (and especially when he was out of hold - he looked like a pro!). However, on the other hand, in terms of the proper quickstep elements - it was lacking retirement, it was too hectic, it lost control over the correct execution of steps and over paying attention the the specific technique of the ballroom dances. My score: a 6.

Right, I hate his legs. He needs to understand where it is OK to have a bent leg and when it isn't. Apart from that I thought this was a decent routine, with the right balance of control and energy. There have been times when he has been so focused on getting the steps right that it has shown in his face, but here he seemed much more relaxed and confident and he was smiling a lot more. He has potential but I still don't think we've seen his best dance just yet.
