When I imagine what I'd like my playing to be like, it is exactly like Jack's in the intro of this video that I aspire to. There's so much soul and feeling in it and the (apparent) simplicity of it just speaks volumes that less is more.

Thank you! And it would be really helpful and cool if the rhythm chord was displayed in the corner while Jack was playing to help us visualize what's happening. Thanks again!

I can’t decide between purchasing the new Rhythm Edition Triad course and the earlier Next Level Rhythm & Solo. New course is on sale but the older one seems to cover more. Do you discuss anything for soloing when analyzing songs/solos in the new course?
@BrettPapa Жыл бұрын
First course lays a solid foundation for both rhythm and lead and the new course dives deep into the rhythm aspects of using triads etc.
@RussC123 Жыл бұрын
@@BrettPapaDoes the first course go into triads at any depth, like how they’re being used in this video?

Holy gate/compression on the voice mics. On topic, though, learning lead (intervals/scales), and by extension the constituent notes that make up a chord, I'm starting to move in to rhythm playing almost by accident. If you can construct a chord, you don't really have to "learn" all the different versions of that chord. You can see them. Love Jack Ruch and how he uses additional intervals such as 6ths. Such a melodic player.
@BrettPapa Жыл бұрын
Yep being able to see them makes a huge difference! Jack is the melody man!

Excuse my ignorance, but if I purchase the course, can I do it thru my phone? I don’t have a computer at home. Appreciate any insight. Cheers
@BrettPapa Жыл бұрын
Yes absolutely! The platform we use is Kajabi and they have an app that lets you access all of the courses on mobile devices as long as you have an internet connection or wifi.
@JamesAstolas Жыл бұрын
Does this cover triads on all string sets?
@BrettPapa Жыл бұрын
It does do some of that. The course we did before this one does all of that stuff. Very foundational stuff where as this one dives into the rhythm application more.
