This is so cute! How much would you charge for this on some sleeveless tanks?
@RiahsTieDye3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! It would depend on how many you were looking to purchase honestly. I’m not sure if you have Facebook or not but I take custom orders on my page (Riahs Tie Dye as well)😊💜

What brand of dye do you use? Plan on doing a black mickey head but don't want it to come out gray...
@RiahsTieDye2 жыл бұрын
Definitely! I use fiber reactive dyes from Dharma Trading Company ☺️🖤

If I don't have sinew or kite string, what else can I use?

Can you do this with reverse tie dye???
@RiahsTieDye2 жыл бұрын
You definitely can. You’ll just need to make sure to use sinew to keep the lines crisp😊

Is the tshirt wet or dry, I heard that you should soak it first?
@RiahsTieDye2 жыл бұрын
I prewash the shirt first to get rid of chemicals or residues and then soak in soda ash for 20 minutes. Then I spin it out in my washer so it’s damp and then it’s ready for tying and dyeing ☺️

Do you have to do it with yarn
@RiahsTieDye4 жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes in order to create the white lines you need something that you can tie really tight. Rubber bands just won’t do it. I have heard of people using fishing line but I have never tried it. I do have a link in the description box of my videos to purchase sinew if you’re interested. Hope this helps😊

do you think this would be easier stitched on with all the tiny pleats? I am always trying things for my G-kids size clothes, thnx
@RiahsTieDye4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. I think it depends on how good you are at stitching. Lol. Myself I’ve never done it but it would definitely work if you are good at it. I think this method is pretty easy but if you are good at stitching then that could very well be easier. Hope this helps😊
